« This was a return trip to the area after close to 30 years and we really enjoyed our time. The house itself is in a lovely secluded location and full of amenities. The host was amazing and communication was excellent. The surrounding area was full of great places to eat and drink too. So happy that the fond memories we have of this location remain the same after 3 decades. Will definitely stay at this house again for our next trip! »

« Great place to stay at Higgins Lake!! The house is clean & updated and feels like home - all the amenities you need, and then some, plus an amazing view!Everything was clean and comfortable. The whole family enjoyed it!One note for guests - bring water shoes for going in the lake out past the owner's boat. « Relaxation at its best! Homey, well appointed, lakefront house on a quiet little cove. This owner thought of everything! Big snack basket with welcome note awaited us. Several restaurants and stores within 10 miles. Water toys available including 2 inflatable kayaks. They even had a "Smores Station" that our grand kids enjoyed! The only thing missing was a washer and dryer. Looking forward to coming back. »

« Wonderful stay at this lake house! The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room are equipped with all you need. The fireplace and fire pit were put to great use. Down the ladder we went into Lake Huron. Nearby Tawas City has good shopping, biking and hiking near the Lighthouse. The hosts were very responsive when contacted and it is clear that they take great care of and pride in their home. »
