« The cabin we stayed in was ultra clean very comfy lots of room. Just a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach. There was a man on site doing some remodeling and another cabin. He was very accommodating helped us with whatever we needed. The owners came in and were also very accommodating. Make sure we had everything we wanted and more. Definitely will be staying here again in the future. »

« Everything about this rental was excellent. The host communicated with us in a very timely manner making checking in/out easy. Riverside Cottage was very comfortable, immaculate and had everything we needed and wanted. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place to stay in the Tawas area! »

« The hosts were absolutely fantastic. I’m in the music industry an travel a LOT. I can honestly say I have never had a host as attentive, easy to work with, and so good at communication as they were here. The cottage itself is modern, comfortable, and had many items that we typically have to purchase on the road. It’s 5 minutes from the incredible downtown area (hallmark movie material), and we were never in the vehicle more than 6 minutes no matter where we needed to go. I rate our stay 15 out...

« The cottage is in a great location, check in and parking is easy. The listing said it had a laundry (washer/dryer) it does not. The host was great and organized a pick-up and drop-off for laundry service to make up for the lack of onsite laundry, they were very professional and easy to communicate with. The kitchen is a little unorganized but has everything you need. The house was not as clean as we would have liked. Overall a great stay. »

« The four of us (partner, myself, two dogs) stayed for a week (6 nights) in early September. We were looking for a place to relax and that is what we got. Our dogs loved the yard, trails, and river. I would say that for us, the listing under sold the property a little. For those who have dogs it is important to note that there was a large collapsible dog crate, it is shown in a picture but is easy to miss. « Lots of room and home was as described. Pet friendly and easy to contain the dogs out of the carpeted rooms on the hard floors. Kitchen items could be better for cooking for a large group, but we had a grest stay and would go back. Communication was prompt and the owner even ordered us some dish towels since there weren't any when we got there. Nice fire pit too! »
