Best place to swim is to the right and over the gravel road the tree with the rope will mark the best area. Water gets to about 7 feet there, its deceiving due to how clear it is. « This property was the perfect place for our Cousin’s Reunion. It had an easy stone stair walkway to the gently flowing river and a large pavilion that was perfect for morning coffee or a family cookout. The kitchen was large enough for several cooks to prep meals at the same time, and had a good assortment of utensils and cookware. « This was exactly what we were needing! The cottage is adorable and private, which we loved. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking! We spent hours in the afternoons enjoying the river and I think our dogs enjoyed it more than we did! It was flowing nicely, clear and cold. We love the Frio, it’s always been our happy place! « This place is awesome. We spent a ton of time at the river kayaking and fishing/floating and saw very few people. The seclusion is great, the river access is super nice, and the house is very functional.
