« Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful house and area. Really did have everything one could need! Check in process was easy and information sent well before hand. The third room isn’t strictly a room - mattresses on raised wooden frames in low ceiling space off one of the main rooms. This wasn’t a problem for us though. We couldn’t find how to get to the river (maybe it’s just us!) - some more specific directions might be helpful for future guests »

« We were 6 strangers attending the nearby Highland County Fiber Retreat. This property was 15 minutes from our venue and was a lovely place to rest and regroup. »

« Not enough positive words, the stars were bright, plenty of games and towels, well stocked with toiletries. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of kitchen utilities. The views were breath taking and peaceful. We had a lovely vacation away from the chaos of home. »

« The view was breathtaking. All rooms were clean and supplied with all needs. Throughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for the events we attended and we have already booked it for the maple festival. The host was very accommodating and made sure our stay was welcoming. »

« We were there for a wedding so we didn’t do any local activities. The house and its history were amazing. Everything you could possibly need was in the home. I liked the location also because you were out of town but still close enough for a few minutes trip to get to restaurants and shopping. »

Our kids loved playing in the creek catching crawfish, campfires in the evenings roasting marshmallows by the creek makes for great family memories. We will definitely be back again! »

« The old farmhouse has a lot of character, clearly having been added onto multiple times. While quirky inside it is a very nice accommodation with a modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms. The property was clean, well stocked with towels and had very nice linens on the beds. It was easy to find, GPS will take you right to it.We wanted a place to see the stars away from other light sources and this property delivered.
