« This was a relaxing getaway cabin, the host gave detailed instructions for checking in and their house rules. The hot tub and grill were amazing, plenty of kitchen equipment and supplies. We only needed one bed for our stay, which was good because the 3 beds upstairs had ladybugs all over them, which is understandable for a cabin the in late Winter. The pond was easy to access and we liked how there were movies available to watch! »

« The house was great. It had plenty of seating, and the living room and bedroom furniture was very comfortable. I loved the Victorian style, dark wood, and antique feel. It had a large kitchen and upstairs bathroom (along with the downstairs half bath). Note that no bedrooms are on the ground floor, if that is important to you. It is dog and cat friendly. The house was very clean, but the living room could have been cleaned of cat and dog hair better. Bring a lint roller, but that is...

« Pickett’s Place is a treasure! Communicating with Lori could not have been more pleasant. Her home is very warm and welcoming. The home is very well appointed with all the typical items a home will have for a family. The interior is beautifully done with such items as a cozy blanket, a suit rack for clothing, comfy furniture, and quite literally the most comfortable bedding. The location is serene but just a quick 15 minute drive to Athens and Ohio University. »
