Perfect for a couples get away -- good also if you have a small child or two. Two queen beds and a daybed -- all in the same sleeping space. Pet friendly. Two small, under-counter fridges, and a counter-top ice maker. Two-burner stove, but no oven. The only VRBO I've ever encountered with a stocked candy machine! (Free!) »

« We stayed here for 3 nights towards the end of August. It was extremely quiet and felt remote, which was exactly what we wanted. It is removed from the busier more tourist-oriented area of the island, which is about 15 minutes away. There is great lake access across the street, and we couldn’t believe how few people there were around the area. The cons: bed is a bit creaky, the only places to sit are on some pretty uncomfortable wicker furniture, and there were a few large black ants in the...
