« We enjoyed our weeklong stay at "Goodnight Irene" -- an expansive space with cozy nooks to read book, play a game, have a snack. Contemporary cabin vibe with fun touches. Perfect for a couples get away -- good also if you have a small child or two. Two queen beds and a daybed -- all in the same sleeping space. Pet friendly. Two small, under-counter fridges, and a counter-top ice maker. Two-burner stove, but no oven. The only VRBO I've ever encountered with a stocked candy machine! (Free!) »

« Our host was very accommodating . Every effort was made to make our stay great. Communication was quick. This location made it very easy to get to the snowmobile trail. The ONLY thing that I would change would be to have local TV channels, but we made due. The house was clean, warm and comfortable. We had a great stay! »

« The house worked out great for us. We went over to the town park several times and enjoyed the fire pit (calling to check the local fire safety status was new to me but understandable, especially given the amount of wildfires in MN/Canada).It is definitely quieter on the north side of the island which was just right for us. Thanks for letting us use the place! »

« We rent someplace in the Winter area every year in October for a weeklong grouse hunt. This cabin was by far our favorite. It was exceptionally cleaned, well kept, well stocked, and well laid out. Chris was a fantastic and accommodating host and made sure everything was set for our arrival. I would highly recommend this property for any group. It is a great combination of multiple comfortable living spaces in a peaceful quiet setting. »

« This place is a hidden gem! Tucked back in a snow covered sanctuary. Every thing we needed after long days on fatbike & skies. Hot shower peaceful nights and beautiful views . Kitchen was well equipped all the personal touches made us feel very at home. We ŵill definitely stay again and hopefully get to explore more of the grounds with snowshoes that were provided .
