« Dove Cottage is wonderful!! Clean, warm, inviting. I felt safe even though it’s so secluded. Everything was just perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. Communication with the owners was excellent! My husband and I are already talking about making this a yearly thing! I would definitely recommend Dove to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy getaway! »

« The cottage is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The kitchen had everything you might need for a full meal or a small late-night snack. The bathroom was large, and the shower was outstanding. The bed was quite simply the best bed we have ever had in a vacation rental, and we have rented all over the United States. « If you have a student at Kenyon College, this is a great place to stay. Very close to KC with the conveniences of Mt Vernon. Property was clean and easily accessible. The bathroom is tiny- can’t image sharing it with 4 people but it worked for 2 of us. Wish we had known about it before this graduation trips-would have definitely stayed here more often. »

« This property is well off the beaten path. Most times, you can’t hear any human activity; just birds, insects and the breeze in the trees. It has a spacious kitchen and living area, and comfortable beds. Stay here if you’re looking for peace and quiet and don’t mind driving 20 minutes to get supplies. « This place was very clean which is always a good thing. It is in a very quiet area that you are far enough off the road you wouldn't hear a vehicle when it did go down the road. It is just big enough to work good and is set up very well as to it being convenient. You need to bring your own entertainment as there is no TV which is ok due to good WiFi. I think this would be a great place for any constellation watching as it is pretty dark and sky is unreal when clear at night. If there was any...

« It was a wonderful property surrounded by horse farms and rolling hills. The pool was great (a little cold)--the hot tub was great and the other residents were kind and thoughtful.The furniture was different than the pictures. Brand new though. It kind of looked like maybe a tenant had been abusive with the other furniture-so they replaced it. »
