« The price Expedia quoted and the price on check in was not the same. The room and lobby smelled of mold and mildew. When we asked for a refund a few hours after check in because I could not breathe in my room they said they couldn't and I would have to go though through Expedia to get it. I couldn't see spending for two hotels for my 4 night stay. The grounds outside was unkept, and the windows not cleaned. The breakfast and breakfast staff was the positive part of the stay. « Wonderful location for hiking, sightseeing, or just enjoying a coffee while listening to birds. Well stocked with everything you’d need for cooking and close to several different stores/towns. As mentioned the pull out isn’t the most comfortable but there are plenty of other options from the loft to the inflatable mattress. Highly recommended if you enjoy hiking or canoeing given the proximity to there park and Mohican Adventures. »

« We had a wonderful time at the schoolhouse! Everything was as described and our family enjoyed a relaxing, but fun weekend. The building was stocked with all the things that one might need. We enjoyed the time we spent in the schoolhouse and our visit to Mohican State Park, which is also beautiful. I highly recommend staying at this unique property. Thank you Garrett for making everything go so smoothly and for maintaining such a lovely historic property. »

« Was a beautiful property but the hot tub didn’t get very hot and the outdoor patio furniture was pretty gross. Otherwise gorgeous and would stay there again! »

« My husband, daughter, and I had a wonderful time. The place is very clean. The master bed is super comfy. The hot tub was amazing. My daughter and I spent a lot of time in there. We literally just wanted a few days to get away and relax and this was the perfect spot for it. The hostess, Nancy, is very kind and more than accommodating. She went above and beyond for us. We will most likely be back again! »

« Beautiful place out in the wilderness. Saw deer every morning and a owl right off from the house. Kids enjoy walking around the creek and in the woods. »
