« Very clean, deck, sunset, game room, grill, very nice gas stove, gas fireplace, nice sleeping bed, well stocked house if you forgot something.. did I leave something out oh yeah it’s not mine.. we enjoy our three night stay greatly. »

« We loved this home and the hosts so much! The home was pristine when we arrived and truly had a stocked kitchen so that we were able to prepare full meals easily! The drive up to the house is beautiful and the roads were in great shape and clear. The location of the home was great for us to visit several towns like Boone, Banner Elk, West Jefferson, Elk River, Valle Crucis and so many more! I have to say that the entire family thought the trash compactor was so cool! Thanks for a great trip! »

« We had a great time this week at A Deer Haven. And it lived up to it's name, the deer were always just below the deck as we drank our coffee every morning and every evening as we sat around the fire pit. Everything was clean and operational. We would absolutely stay again. We would have liked to see a TV in the master bedroom, however that is just personal preference. Hopefully we can stay again soon! »

« Such a great home for families to gather and also for family members and couples to have their own space. We loved the option of indoor and outdoor spaces. Also the location was great, so close to the quaint town of West Jefferson and only about an hour from Boone area snow activities, and Ferguson area Leatherwood Mountain for Horseback trail riding. Everyone commented on what a great find this wheelchair accessible home was, and being able to bring our dogs was also great! »
