« The cottage was well stocked with basic items and then some. The coffee bar had a variety to choose from. The beds were all comfortable and the living space was perfectly sized. My girls loved hanging out in the loft. The location makes you feel like you are secluded but town is just a short drive away. Everything was smooth and easy. I would highly recommend this cottage for a stay in Tawas. »

« The host was great and responsive. Beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. We loved being outside, enjoying the water and the scenery. I suggest spraying to rid of the ridiculous amount of spiders that were inside and outside. It was more like an infestation. Cleaning the floors better before guest arrive, there was a lot of whitish fur on the floors & fans. « Overall we were happy with the accommodations and our experience. What we didn't appreciate were the multiple text messages ordering us to clean the entire cabin. One such message was received after 10pm. If we are paying a service fee then we should not be asked or required to deep clean the unit. Matresses were surprisingly comfortable. Probably the most comfortable mattress in a rented cabin to date. Thank you. »

« Misleading listing as home is 3 bedrooms, not 4, as 4th bedroom is actually a pull out love seat in the only living area of the home and not a bedroom. Host said home had been professionally cleaned and monitored within 24hrs of check-in, but one bedroom had both dead and live spiders and webs throughout, kitchen island still had food stains and debris from a previous guest, bath linens were stained and dingy, grass around the fire pit and yard was high and filled with mosquitoes. « Would definitely stay here again - we inadvertently booked the second cabin in two different years without even realizing it. It’s a nice clean place to stay that’s close to both tawas and Oscoda. Owners are reasonable and communicate quickly. Price is right. Bunk beds are a little dicey- top one needs slats. Comfy couches and nice sleep number bed. Pillows are a little balloon like (maybe being your own) »
