« This was our second stay at Grand Lake Cozy Cottage. Everything was just as great as our first time there. The cottage feels like a home and is well equipped. We love that they have a ping pong table and nice fire pit with wood. The canoes and kayaks are great too although we didn’t use them this time because the water was a bit rough while we were there. Just like before, we never saw the neighbors. The property is in a very quiet spot. If I were to change one thing, I wish for queen beds...

« This was, by far, the loveliest home we have stayed in. Our host, Bill, has an eye for comfort and detail. He met us at the property, walked us through some of the basics, showed us how to control the hot tub, and gave us recommendations for places to eat and shop and things to do in the area. « We did a long weekend to do some hiking at Rockport and Ocqueoc falls. Great location being only 10min from Rockport, 20min downtown Alpena and 30min to Ocqueoc Falls. Clean, quiet and a well stocked kitchen. »

The House is so beautiful and relaxing. The house is off the main road so it is very quiet and the town is very small. The kitchen is very well equipped so we did a lot of cooking.
