« The host was tremendous. The cottage was 60’s-style, well cared for, and cozy. The beds were comfortable. We were a short walk away from huge, calm, beautiful Hubbard Lake. The kitchen was well stocked and the stove, fridge, and microwave were in great shape and functioning properly. The WiFi and air condo worked great. « We were thrilled to be on the Thunder Bay river. My family likes to fish off the dock. It is shallow at this point and peacful. We were able to use one kayak. The second kayak was too filled with rain.water and too heavy for us to turn over and drain it. The deck is a lovely place to sit or eat and watch the river, except that the seat cushions were soaked with rain water also. I suggest a deck storage box to store the seat cushions when not in use. this will keep them dry and ready for use....

« We spent 11 days at the cottage while visiting our hometown for our wedding. The location was perfect and the cottage had plenty of space to entertain any guests that visited. Our favorite part was the sunrises and sunsets as you get a truly exceptional experience of both at this location.
