« The home was very clean and organized. The hosts even set out freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for our arrival. They provided plenty of towels/ washcloths/ blankets. They also had a personalized book of the homes origins and local things to do and restaurants. We loved the solar lights around the property for safety as well. Our stay was a 5 out of 5 and we would return to this property if we re-visit this area in the future.March 2026 »

« We had a wonderful weekend stay for our daughter's wedding. The house has been completely renovated with the top-of-the-line furniture and appliances. Every room is exquisitely furnished. We LOVED the fire pit and smores which our hosts graciously supplied. The countryside was quiet and the night-time stars were spectacular. We highly recommend this beautiful home for any stay you have in the area. »

« From hiking through the blue ridge tunnel, canoeing down the Jackson river with Alleghany Outfitters, attending a jamboree in Floyd, visiting a local bee sanctuary, or running into local pie shops like Woodruffs, we traveled all over the area and had sooo much fun. Getting back to this beautiful house and property at the end of the day was the icing on the cake!
