« I would say the room was great. It was clean and very spacious. The staff working in the office were very friendly and kind. The parking is plentiful and easy to access. The area around the hotel is quiet and calm. The only real consideration is that the area where this is located does not have much in the way of food options, shopping, or much else and the hotel staff and owners of course don't have anything to do with that. « My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Downtown Carriage House. The property is centrally located and easy to walk to the Art Park, downtown shops and restaurants. The property was clean and well equipped. Definitely recommend for a weekend stay in Charlottesville. »

« We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. »

« Wonderful host and great stay! Apartment was spacious and comfortable. More room that we needed for two couples. Easy off street parking for two cars. Loved the front patio area! Safe and easy to walk around the area. Perfect location for getting to local wineries and evenings out downtown. Host was very responsive and helpful and thought of everything when furnishing this rental. We will definitely book here again when we’re back in Charlottesville! »
