« First and foremost, host is as kind as they come, so it makes it hard to write this review. The « building » is an old garage, which could be cool BUT, it is pretty old ( not in a quaint way) and very dirty. Spiderweb everywhere, dust, stuff (hoarder style). The bathroom, if we can call it that, is upstairs. A dirty piece of carpet welcomes you upstairs. The shower is a plastic box and the toilet next to it is extremely low and small. « My close friend and I went to Livermore for a wine tasting weekend. Ann’s property was a wonderful home base for us! Ann was a great communicator and easy to get a hold of.Cleanliness is my number one requirement, and this rental was absolutely immaculate! One of the two nights of our stay we stayed in and cooked, and loved that there's a gas stove. We also made good use of the washer and dryer which are excellent. « It's not a good neighborhood for your family. Especially with kids, lots of noise at nighttime. My trunk got broken to the first 2 nights, so I had to leave the second night. »
