« Windows were dirty and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. The internet did not work in the two bedrooms on the bottom floor. It was hard to lock and unlock the front door. Other than that it was okay. »

Friendly host Emil provided a comprehensive list of sights for day trips, restaurants and events, and instructions for the property. Good walking trails from both cottage and Lismore. »

« Truly cannot say enough about our stay here! From the views, to the house to the communication, all were stellar! Robert was incredibly communicative and helpful on all matters though there was nothing we needed for the house because he had it all! Waking up and having coffee in the front to the view was just as you would imagine. The pictures are truly what you get and more! Plenty of space for our whole group to spread out! « We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. Since we were away most of the daytime hours, this never presented an issue (though we knew of the nearby parking garage, if we needed it.) The host also had great local recommendation. We would definitely stay here...

« This was a lovely place for us to stay for three nights. Clean and spacious for six adults. Within walking distance of Castlemartyr's Main Streets and several shops and pubs. The property manager was very sweet and even left us a cake to welcome us. »

« This is a clean, comfortable house, situated about 1.5 miles from the centre of Kinsale. It's well appointed with everything you would need in a vacation rental. As the owner states, your own transport is essential. We found some difficulty with getting a taxi from Kinsale once it goes beyond 8 - 9 o'clock in the evening. The Bulman gastropub is well worth a visit, only 5 minutes by car. You need to be in good shape to manage the hills around the property if you're walking! »
