One minor grouse - the cooker was qite complicated, and the instructions in the welcome pack didn't fit the exact model of cooker. « The Hive is a unique luxury 2 bed apartment. Spacious and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen including espresso maker right in the center of Stow-on-the-Wold. When I say luxury it is high end in every detail from the bedding to the showers and bath. I loved that the four of us could hang out in the living room as our own private space rather than a hotel lobby. The owners were charming and own the restaurant downstairs. The whole experience is 11/10. »

« Beautiful and spacious cottage with fully stocked kitchen that fit our family of four perfectly. Warm and welcoming hosts. Welcome package and guides were appreciated. Close to several activities / attractions across Cotswolds and within ten minutes of a grocery store. Kids had a blast playing in the lovely gardens and playing fetch with the friendly dog. We would absolutely return should we ever find ourselves in the Cotswolds again, and would recommend this stay to everyone. »

« This was such a lovely, cosy cottage. Really well equipped with plenty of space for the two of us. We particularly liked the wood burning stove. The cottage is just a few yards from the pub in a quiet, out of the way spot. Ideal for a couple wanting to get away from it all for a few days »

« Locks cottage is perfect for a family get together. It has a great games room with a multi function pool/table tennis/shuffle board table and many indoor and outdoor games to keep children of all ages happy. There is a lovely sitting area for the adults to enjoy and the garden is lovely. Lots of stairs and mind your head on the beams. All in all we would definitely rent it again and are glad we rented an SUV as the track to cottage was challenging. »

It perfectly accommodated two elderly grandparents, three kids ages 9,14 and 17 along with my wife and I for a week’s stay in the Cotswolds. « Cottage located at a uniquely beautiful and original place next to a mill. The cottage is small however comfortable (for 4 adults and two children) and attractive. Walking the area around the cottage along the creek that divides two rows of houses was absolutely marvelous.Response from management prompt and thoughtful. »

« Lovely property, just the right size. Perfect location for strolling into town for shopping, restaurants etc. Plush bath & hand towels, well equipped kitchen. Could have provided small body wash lotions, shampoo and conditioners in the bathroom for guest use, but that’s a more minor point. A couple of plates & mugs were already chipped prior to our arrival, so that should be looked after better, prior to guest arrival. Didn’t communicate with the property manager, so gave a 1 star rating there »

« Lovely cottage which is extremely well equipped. The owner has thought of everything. Very nicely decorated with lots of interesting things. Comfortable beds. Be warned that it is on a busy road so be prepared for traffic noise. Easy access to lovely walks and the stunning Cotswolds villages »

« Property has been decorated to a very high standard. Car park easy to find and access. Very central location. Easy access despite no front desk, just a code emailed to access the car park and room. Higher numbered rooms are quite a walk up a lot of stairs though. Would pay a bit more for a lower floor next time. Called to ask if we could leave the car on the Carpark a little later than midday, and they were happy to help as the rooms weren’t at full occupancy the next night. »
