« We spent one night in Colchester at GreyFriars Hotel.This is great value for money and definetely deserves 4 to 5*. Amazing breakfast. I recommend the suite with large bathtub. »

« Very well located in the very center of Colchester with free carpark (although through tiny porch !)
Small but cosy room, bed and shower quite OK.
Good breakfast with fresh products.

« Such a nice little gem outside of London as a stop if you’re travelling through or a base if you’re exploring the eastern countryside.
The food was particularly delicious and the generous portion sizes will not leave anyone disappointed.

« Nous avons choisi le George sur les conseils d'amis qui, comme nous, ont leur enfant à l'University of Essex. The George est situé sur High Street, donnant un grand choix de restaurants, 100 metres du parc du Chateau (7.30-19h). L'hôtel est très "oldy-wordly" avec quelques murs d'origine. La chambre n'était pas grande mais largement suffisante, avec vue sur le parking, donc pas de bruit et très calme. Le lit, 160 metre était très confortable comme le linge de lit. Le seul hic était la douche...

« We had the most wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we had a lovely room - Masefield, which had a large sitting area, a patio and a large bathroom. Will certainly return. »

« This was a beautiful dated building, not your conventional place to stay but i would most definitely return, service was amazong, so friendly and efficient, this was for my wedding, one night before and night of, the jacuzzi bath was fantastic and both my son and my wife loved it, good for us bigger lads who cants normally enjoy a bath, very low ceilings but there are warnings in all the night places, would highly recommend if you want a peaceful retreat, the breakfast was amazing and good...

« Lovely place to stay, just outside of Sudbury town centre. Room was cosy, bed lovely and comfortable with a great shower. Owners were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were great and tasty. It's not walking distance to any evening food options, so you will need a car if staying there, but Sudbury is only 10 minutes away. »

« We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round . »

« We really enjoy our stay at the farm. The location is very convenient, in a quiet spot but close to a well connected road. Our duplex had everything we needed for a short stay including a well equipped kitchen when and bathroom with toiletries.
We took advantage of the amenities of the farm including the playing area with plenty of toys for a toddler aged child as well as pool and foosball tables and outdoor space (swimming pool was still close at this time).
