« The bed were confortable and the room was large enough. Breakfast was good (except the coffee). When we entered the room there was a strong stench. It was the drain of the shower. They gave us perfume because we couldn't breath even with the window open. At night we had to closed the bathroom door and in the morning it was terrible. They didn't fix it after our first night and we hope they did after our stay. Plus, there was chewing gum on the contour sheet and we could not find the lady of the...

« Room was lovely and spacious. Only downside was the bed was uncomfortable , the mattress was quite hard and the pillows were way too soft to have a good sleep . Location was great to get to the farmers dog (10 mins in a taxi) »

« Staff is very friendly. We were in the shepherd hut: clean, cosy and good looking. Great experience! »

« The hotel and rooms were truly. We had a pleasant and relaxing stay except there was no cold water in the taps. The team wasn't able to resolve this but were generous enough to offer 10% discount on the inconvenience caused. »

« We were directly above the bar which had loud music until 1.30 am Easter Saturday night , so unable to sleep before 2 am . Guess we should have joined the party but we were too tired to do so . Apart from that ,the room and services were ok but you wouldn't want to pay more for these standards . »

« Fantastic stay in the cottage - immaculately presented room with loads of space and a very nice selection of snacks. The staff in the Inn were incredibly welcoming and made for a totally relaxed break. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough »

« We booked a £324 overnight stay, including dinner and breakfast, as an early birthday treat. The hotel looked attractive and the room appeared clean, but the experience was deeply disappointing. We booked a Deluxe Room, having deliberately ruled out the separately advertised Deluxe Accessible Room. On arrival, we were allocated what appeared to be that room, in the separate Coach House. It was stark and lacked the character we expected. Worse was the handling of our concerns. The duty manager...

« A wonderful old pub in a fantastic location just off the main street going through Burford. A lovely room which we enjoyed, but the staff just felt a but distant, making errors with drinks. Food presentation lacked flair and lacked imagination. In summary, a great room but eat elsewhere to enjoy it best. »
