« Great hostel, staff is really nice. They have a shuttle from the bus station/beach, but they don't run late so if you are going out, it takes 20min to walk back. Everything was clean. I highly recommend this place. They also offer activities/tours but you can find cheaper option along the beach. »

« Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Very noisy. No blanket, only sheet. No windows. Person was not there to check me in. Only one functional shower for multiple people. Would not recommend. »

« Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless...

« Small hostel in a great location. The owners are super nice and booked our canyoneering tour for us, and rented us snorkels for our whole stay. The room was nice enough, no frills but good for what we needed. The shared bathroom was not great though, and could do with some attention. The sliding front door was also very stiff and awkward to use, which was a bit annoying. « Staff were uniformly bright considerate helpful and courteous. General Manager Marcel from the Netherlands gave us much helpful advice about how to enjoy the area. He managed the staff in a quiet respectful manner which I am sure contributed to the latter’s kindness to the guests. The highlight of the location is a 7 minute walk to a beautiful protected white sand beach. Many times we were the only ones there. "The resort is well located fronting the sea with a very nice view and nice snorkeling. The swimming-pool is nice. It could be very good, but it seems it’s going down with poor management and lack of maintenance. We had to change of room because the CR was clogged. Some part of the staff seems sleepy while other seems more active. There is a real lack of ambiance in the little resto, no music, no decoration…sometimes you feel in a ghost resort. The staff gives no advices about the tourist spots. We stayed there 10 years ago with a good feeling, that’s why we decided to come back. We do not know if we will come back."

"A wonderful stay in a beautiful place. Nick & Raquel allowed us to have an exceptional end of year in their familial hotel. Raquel booked us 2 activities (scuba diving & canyoneering), it was perfect and cheaper than all the offers in the town. We recommend this place and will come back for sure."
