Nice but…
Nice Hotel, but room too close to the kitchen’s ventilation : noisy +++ : this is not the kind of attention you wait from a 4*… even more when the hotel is half empty… restaurant with a reduced card, staf quite distant too : maybe there could be something to do there… overall : comfortable, but not the extra-attention you could await.

Hidden Gem
Hidden gem of a hotel retaining a lot of its character but adding quality furnishings. A touch of quality like home from home. Room was small but the decor was warm and comfortable and the bed one of the best I’ve ever slept in during my nights away (100 nights per years!) Staff friendly and helpful and food and dining typically ‘country Ireland’ but quality and a lovely roaring stove fire to keep you warm.

This is a quiet little jewel of a hotel. We absolutely loved our stay here! The food was great. We had the chicken ham pot pie and it was delicious! After dinner we had a nice stroll across the bridge to the Discovery park. The staff was kind and delightful. Service was exceptionally good. The room was beautiful and comfortable with nice big towels. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a very restful night. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and cooked to order. Never had lemon pancakes before and they were light and refreshing. Again, the service at breakfast was great. This stay was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved this boutique hotel. We would highly recommend it for anyone's stay. The food was great and the accommodations were lovely. Breakfast was a delight. The staff were courteous and went out of their way to be helpful.

An overnight stop for me, and the room as an office to write up the day's work. Comfortable and very pleasant hotel, though my room was right over the ballroom below and the very good music didn't finish until late on a Wednesday night - if there's a show on and it bothers you, ask for a room not directly above! Nicely appointed property, the stairway smells clean, polished and warm. Would stay again.

This was not a planned stop but a wonderful stop. This boutique hotel was clean, quiet, had a very excellent bar, and was very walkable through a cute little community.

Beautifully renovated historic manor hotel
We stayed for a night after visiting Kilkenny Castle, and En-route to Cashel and Blarney. The hotel was excellent - friendly staff, comfortable room and delicious food. We took the combo with breakfast and evening meal - an incredible deal with an unrestricted choice from the menu. It also had air conditioning in the height of the July heatwave.. The town itself was charming.
