Très bel espace tout à fait dans l'esprit Carmel, bon accueil et bon petit déjeuner...jeste un bémol pour le manque d'isolation acoustique des chambres et salles de bain.

Amazing property in the ideal location. Literally a four minute walk to Ocean Ave and all the loveliness Carmel had to offer. Stunning ocean view from the Delores II cottage.

We only stay for one night. There’s no heat. We were freezing in the mid-night. Other than that was great.

Dear Ting Ting,Thank you so much for staying with us and we very much appreciate your feedback! We are very sorry that you were cold during your stay. The Dolores Cottage II has a very good heating system in place, throughout the house heat is provided if you turn on the thermostat, that is located on the wall in the living room, near the half bathroom. We are so sorry this was missed and that you were cold. In addition, the unit has an electric fireplace for warmth. Hopefully we will see you again and you will have a much better experience.

Great spot for a couple's getaway.
This is a super cute hotel. The bed was comfortable and the location is very walkable to downtown. We visited in the winter but the grounds were still so pretty!

The property needs an update. Minimum towels, coffee supplies, etc. including heat (pre-set). There are no luxuries. It does have a gas fireplace but does not provide any heat to the room. The staff was less than helpful - I heard "Unfortunately.... several times" I never heard, here's what we could do!! There is parking and the location is close to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

Cozy Fireplace Find
This was our first time at Carmel Fireplace Inn and we are happy we discovered it. The fireplace is a lovely touch and enjoyable on chilly Carmel nights and morning. Location was perfect -- easy to walk downtown. Very comfortable with good sheets and towels. Hot water took seemingly forever to arrive, but that was a minor annoyance. Bring your own hair conditioner if you use one and I liked my own soap better than theirs. Our room was on a corner, so we did get some traffic noise. If you want absolute quiet, ask for an interior room. It really was enjoyable.

You can never go wrong with Carmel, Possibly it is a place that I will not forget, it has a special charm, I would not know how to define it, it is special in itself, because it is. And Fireplace Inn was perfect. Highlight the kindness of Augustina at reception. She was superhost.
