Big Sur Lodge-Style House in Carmel with PANORAMIC Ocean, Bay & Valley VIEWS!

Beautifully remodeled contemporary Big Sur Lodge -Style House in Carmel with amazing UNOBSTRUCTED 180-degree views of Carmel Valley, Carmel Bay including Monastery and Carmel River Beachs, Point Lobos and the Pacific Ocean. These views overlook a canopy of trees with virtually no direct view of other houses and no power lines! This warm and comfortable home is 2,200 sf with 3 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms - two are Primary-Suites! It has EVERYTHING for a vacation or retreat.

Floor-to-ceiling Picture Windows frame spectacular views from the Living Room. All 3 bedrooms have glass sliding doors with access to the wrap around deck on the main floor. The Master Suite has sweeping views of the valley, Point Lobos and ocean from the queen-sized bed, and even the bathroom has a picture window with views from the shower & toilet! Sleep under the Redwoods in the spacious 425 sf Cabin Suite. It has an en-suite with it's own kitchenette and bathroom. The kitchen table can be changed for a sleeper-futon on request for a 3rd adult to share the space. It has access to it's own outdoor space or the 'mid-deck' with a table and 2 chairs. The 3rd guest bedroom 'Deep Blue' is adjacent to the main bathroom and has a queen bed, desk, 2 chairs, full-sized washer and dryer and sliding doors to the deck with Green Belt views. Each room has its own original character while still blending with the Big Sur style Lodge.

The front door enters into the upper Office/Den Loft with full Office Desk, copier/printer and shredder, a 2nd writing desk and large coffee table perfect for puzzles and games. It has a queen-sleeper couch. Well behaved dogs are welcome and there is a generous fenced in dog-run. This newly renovated home is a dedicated Vacation Rental. It is fresh, clean and uncluttered with an updated Big Sur lodge influence.

Crestview is right off Hwy 1 and an easy 1 mile from the quintessential Village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Crestview is perfect for a Vacation or remote Work/ Study Retreat, and affords the space, comfort and privacy for family or friendship reunions. This property is New to VRBO in 2021!

This Oasis is calm and peaceful and the decks are not suited for loud and energetic families that need an open space to run around. Well behaved children that are mature and can be respectful of the property and other guests are welcome with acknowledgement of house rules by guest when booking.

Additionally, the Carmel Big Sur-Style Guest House (lower level) is also on this property. The Guest House (930 sf, 1 BR/ 1 BA, sleeps up to 4) on the lower level may be rented with the Main House, if available, and both units can be adjoined. We had a great experience at this property. The property manager was so helpful with hikes and restaurants. It was a perfect location (I would have a car in this town). The house has everything you would ever need. Hands down AMAZING VIEW. I loved the vibe of the property.

The home is absolutely stunning with an amazing view of the Carmel Valley. Beds are comfortable and sheets and towels are good quality. The entire property was absolutely spotless and it in great shape!We really appreciated the property manager meeting us and showing us around which helped us get settled in quickly. Would absolutely recommend this property as a jumping off point for Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur!Great property and great hosts!

We’ve stayed at many places over the years and this one is impossible to beat. The view is spectacular, Callie was so easy to book and communicate with, the house was spotless and had everything you could need. We had the best weekend at the house and already can’t wait to come back. If you’re coming to Carmel this is hands down the place to stay!

The house is nice and comfortable. Great communication with the owners. The view is insane. Nothing better than to spend time outside with a glass of wine enjoying the view. Overall wonderful stay. Some things to note - downstairs is rented separately and you can see and hear people while you are out on the patio - not a big deal but we didn’t realize that the cottage mentioned is the lower level of the same house with separate entrance. Another thing to note is that the property is not a walkable to cafes etc, you have to drive. Though everything the area has to offer is very short drive away, either north to Monterey or south to Carmel Valley, Point Lobos State Park, Big Sur, and Carmel ocean beach. Would recommend for a special occasion.

This place is worth every penny. It is beautiful with a fabulous view. Spacious, great kitchen (we cook a lot), wrap around deck. Also a great dining area for long dinners as well as - when warmer -- great places for dining on the deck. The area is beyond beautiful and host directed us to amazing hikes. She was amazingly helpful. Highly, highly recommended.

Lux comfort! Our host, Callie, was FANTASTIC! Great communication prior, a warm and informative welcome to the property, and quick response when we needed local info. The house and views are stunning. The vibe is relaxed but the property is super clean and well appointed with the quality of everything from wine glasses and cutlery to linens as good or better than home. We appreciated kind touches like good quality basic bath products being provided, too. This feels like a place that the owners love and enjoy themselves rather than a turnkey ā€œjust the basicsā€ place — they are very considerate of the guest experience. I can absolutely recommend this place and would love to return!

Loved the beautiful home with a view to die for! Went with our family of 5 (4 adults and a teen) and our dog. Home is well suited for our sized group and very dog friendly. Very comfortable and Callie was awesome checking us in and checking up on us. Loved the hospitality and would highly recommend!

We came to the area for the Monterey Bay half marathon. The house is amazing. Lots of room, great location and outstanding views. Host was one of the best! Very responsive before and during our stay - gave us great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to try. Really made the trip even better! Would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful trip to Carmel - Point Lobos trails, Food and Wine Tour, Bike Tour, Lunch at The Bench at Pebble Beach, shopping, dining, and a great massage at Happy Feet III! But, the highlight of the trip had to be returning to our VRBO at the end of each day! This house was absolutely perfect - everything from access, location, amenities, and a very helpful and communicative host! The pictures don't do it justice - sweeping views of mountains and ocean with floor to ceiling windows, and wrap-around deck to watch the sky change colors in the morning and evening! The space was perfect for our group, and it really did make the trip. Thank you to Callie for making us feel so welcome, for all your great recommendations, and for being so available! We sure hope to get back to this jewel of a home!

Callie and Susan were amazing hosts. They were communicative and inviting. We were having our wedding the area and booked this house to stay and to host some small get togethers throughout the weekend. Callie and Susan were so inviting and graciously let us use their house. They are extremely dog friendly, and this house has the most epic views. It was the perfect location to make our weekend extra special! The location is perfect and close to everything!

We rented the main house for Car Week 2024 and could not have been more pleased. Location was great, amenities and the overall condition of the house was immaculate. We just wish we weren't so committed to all the Car Week activities as we hoped to hang out at the house more. The views are amazing and the wrap around deck is a great place to have your morning coffee. Only one recommendation would be to have luggage racks in the closets for visitors. Thank you to Callie and Susan for a spectacular stay!
