Décevant
L'hôtel est bien placé, mais le confort est décevant. Tout est minuscule : réception ,restaurant, bar extérieur, sans parler de la piscine donnant sur la rue : pas plus grande qu'une baignoire. Aucun endroit calme, nul part dans l'hôtel, on est les uns sur les autres. La salle de bain, dans les chambres est toute petite. On a attendu plus de 2h au restaurant, le soir, pour avoir ....une salade. Un seul ascenseur pour tout l'hôtel, c'est insuffisant. Les clients sont très bruyants, dans les couloirs, en pleine nuit Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel

Hôtel bien situé mais prix excessif
Hôtel de catégorie moyenne avec un restaurant qui sert plutôt des burgers et des salades. Il n'y a plus de piscine mais elle est toujours indiquée sur le descriptif ! Le personnel de la réception est incapable de nous remettre un vêtement rapporté par le guide d'une excursion !

L'hôtel est très bien situé. J'y ai passé un week-end seul, c'était parfait, la chambre ne servant qu'à dormir. Toutefois je n'y passerais pas un week-end à deux avec intention de passer un peu plus de temps à la chambre. Chambre petite, tapis partout. Difficile pour les bronches fragiles. J'avais réservé une chambre non fumeur et à mon arrivé on m'a répondu "ça va dépendre de ce qui est disponible.... La chambre qu'on m'a donne avait clairement été une chambre fumeur même si il y avait maintenant une affiche mon-fumeur.

Les plus:propreté,confort,amabilité du personnel de service des chambres et des serveuses au petit déjeuner. Le moins:le matin du 12 janv.ayant demandé,à l'accueil,de téléphoner à un taxi d'une compagnie du Cap,un homme se tenant près du bureau des excursions est intervenu et a essayé de me berner en se faisant passer pour un chauffeur du taxi souhaité et me guidant vers un véhicule qui n'était pas un taxi mais une voiture banalisée que j' ai refusée .

Nice hotel. Situated between the V&A Waterfront and the City Centre. Both are easy walking distances. Quite a spacious room with a modern bathroom and a large shower area. Good value for money. Very pleasant and professional Staff.

The rate was very reasonable compared to other nearby properties so we didn’t really have high expectations. Our room was spacious and contained good variable lighting excellent rain shower. But best of all was the friendly and helpful staff. We couldn’t wish for better place so close to the waterfront and city.

１５年ぶりにこのホテルに泊まりました。以前のイメージで予約を入れたときは料金がずいぶん値上がりしたように思いましたが、お部屋が改装され、広く明るく綺麗になり、ベッドも快適でした。宿泊前からホテルにメールで問い合わせたときも対応が早く、滞在中もスタッフがテキパキと対応してくれて、良かったです。間もなくホテルのレストランが改装工事に入るそうなので、ホテル内で食事を考えている人は注意が必要です。

An excellent lodging experience. The view of the canal was beautiful and serene. The food and drink options were exceptional and very economical. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was superior, except the desk light didn't work, even though i swapped out the light bulbs.

Found the walk to the Waterfront further than expected. Disappointed with the first room allocated, however changed to more favourable room. Very comfortable bed and value for money for the area.

One of the best decisions I made was staying at The City Lodge at the V and A Waterfront. Location is perfect. It is an attractive looking place about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the V and A Waterfront (where there are tons of resturants (try La Prada. Food is delicious), souvenir shopping, grocery store (in the mall in the basement), etc.. There are cops everywhere, so it was a safe walk that I did solo all the time, as I was traveling by myself. It is busy during the day around the hotel, but at night, as it is an area with a lot of corporate businesses, it got really deserted. I took ubers if going out at night. The hotel itself was clean and quiet. The staff are hard workers! Always willing to help make your stay amazing. They have breakfast and dinner at an extra charge. You have the choice between Contenental Breakfast or English Breakfast. I was there for a while so I did go to the coffee shop next door to the hotel and had oatmeal and tea there twice. It was delicious. The location is central to everything. 3 mins in an Uber to Gold Restaurant. 5 mins to Long street. The room was well appointed. Large bathroom, huge shower, air conditioning, refrigerator, windows open for fresh air, couch, sitting area with desk large mirror and good lighting. Vending machines in the lobby and they sell large bottles of cold water at the bar. The 'pool' is really hottub size and it is right next to the hotel restaurant. It was not clean. I was so busy, I wouldnt have used it anywa

Convenient and reasonable price. However, need to do much better with the TVs in the room. No stations programmed and no instructions on how to program.

Perfection!
Price. Location. Amenities. Linens. City Lodge Waterfront is a gem. Easy short walk to center of V&A Waterfront and all the attractions, yet on the edge with easy auto access. We were connecting with a cruise and could see our ship docked at cruise terminal from the hotel. All ez-pz.
