« Property wasn’t much to look at outside but inside was perfectly clean. Good layout for our family of 5. Appliances clean and ample kitchen wares. Owners were awesome and good communications. Price was right and well located between houghton and copper harbor. Great place to stay for your trip to the Keewenaw. »

« Everything looked exactly like the pictures. Perfectly clean and cozy. It was close to the downtown of Laurium. So we walked to breakfast every morning. Calumet is just on the other side of the highway and it was easy to get to the supermarket, Copper World or get a cup of coffee/tea. I would definitely again! »

« The apartment was a great base camp for our travels in the upper pennisula. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice. I do agree with another review about the bathtub being slippery when taking a shower. We bought a bath mat which helped tremendously. »

« The place was super clean, very nice, and so conveniently located to visit my kiddo at MTU. The listing mentions it is close to the highway but I didn't find it to be a problem at all. I slept great! I really appreciated the coffee too! I definitely plan on staying again. »

« This vrbo was great for what we needed. It's an old building so you can hear the people above walking around upstairs but a fan will drown out the noise if it bothers you. Large assortment of games, coffee etc. My son just moved in at Michigan Tech. This place was close to campus (about a 5-10 min drive). »

« All said it done it was a great location, many things to do at the property itself to stay busy (games and wifi with tv.) and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Host was attentive and kind. They stock the house with most of what you need and its good quality items. (Bed linen, toiletries, paper towel ect) Its a repurposed building so it definitely has it quirks. But nothing you wouldn't expect by looking through the listing. If i had any cons it would be that the weekend we stayed it seemed to...
