Completely renovated top to bottom with every detail in mind. You will be at the center of everything. Quiet setting in Downtown Houghton within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, recreation, waterfront trail and much more! Within minutes of Mount Ripley, Michigan Tech University and within 1 hour of Mount Bohemia and Copper Harbor. The view of the Portage Canal and Lift Bridge says it all about this location.

Parking: Two parking spaces are available for each suite and located at the rear of the building along the iron fence/gate entrance to the suites. So clean and honestly, many small details that make for a great experience. The hosts truly thought of everything. There are games, brochures, fans, extra blankets, and even coffee/tea for your enjoyment. We used the tea kettle daily and just loved the overall space. There are cleaning supplies available to keep tidy with also. I wish all vacation rentals could have the details this one did. Thank you for a great experience!

What a beautiful and well appointed property! the location cannot be beat if you are interested in being walking distance to virtually all the key places in Houghton. Having the spacious living area to host friends for relaxing morning coffee pastries from Roy's (just down the way!) was an unexpected treat and a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend the property and will definitely be booking again on my next trip to Houghton!

We were extremely impressed with the apartment. It was extremely clean. Everything was new and modern looking, beautiful kitchen. It had everything you needed as far as TP, laundry supplies, paper towels, ziplock bags, ect. We cooked all but 1 night and it had everything needed to do so. Location was very convenient. We would definitely try staying here again when in the area next time.

Very clean, comfortable. Roku TVs in both bedrooms so my son and I could watch our own shows before going to sleep. Slight road noise, but I always bring my sound machine with me, so no problem for me. Very nice shower. I already suggested it to others for future visits. I will stay here again too:)

There is no place like Houghton

First and foremost, I want to emphasize that we think this is a fabulous location! The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the entire place was absolutely spotless. If I could live here full-time, I would! And yes, I would absolutely stay here again if it were just my family. That being said, our stay for Tech graduation had a few minor hitches. We had two guests over 80 with us, and we encountered daily difficulties with the TV, often needing to rely on our personal hotspots for viewing. It would be incredibly helpful to have clear instructions for finding local stations and a comprehensive list of available channels. The Wi-Fi connectivity wasn't consistently reliable, which made it impossible to leave our parents to stream the graduation. We did troubleshoot the Wi-Fi and found removing the repeater from the wall sometimes improved performance. For future guests planning to work remotely, we'd recommend bringing their own hotspot.Separately, the toilet unfortunately overflowed one morning around 7:30 a.m. While we understand these things happen, it took nearly 30 minutes to clear with the supplied sink plunger (a toilet plunger would have been more effective). We did call the service number and reached an answering service. We called back once it was cleared, asking if someone could check it while we were out.Finally, we'd suggest laminating a 'departure checklist' and leaving it on-site or sending it at check-in. The email was missed due to a busy schedule.

Awesome apartment!

We loved this apartment! It is super clean and very modern. Our family of 4 was very comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect and convenient to everything downtown Houghton. Our son is a freshman at Michigan Tech so it was great to be so close he could walk down to see us at his convenience. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance. The host gave great details for parking, location and checking in. We will definitely be back! Thanks for hosting us!

Great apartment in downtown Houghton!

We really enjoyed our time in this apartment. It was squeaky-clean and we enjoyed the great view of the bridge and the portage. The kitchen was well-equipped too. We had an issue with the handle on one of the doors, and the host got back to us super promptly and dealt with the issue right away. It was a great experience.
