Borough de Colchester : Lodges

« ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was our second stay at Apple Tree Lodges and we absolutely loved it! We would highly recommend staying here. We stayed in Russet Lodge, which was exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully cosy. It's one of those places where you really won't want to leave! The Stock by Nayland Hotel is only a 3-minute drive away, and they offer a taxi service from 7.15pm to collect you from the lodge if you fancy an evening out, which is a lovely added bonus. We've had another fantastic stay...

« Everything you need and plenty of room. Good location. »

« We had a lovely three day break, the accommodation is perfect and offers some great walks in the country. We would definitely recommend the lodges to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing break. »

« The peaceful location was wonderful. The room was well equipped and cosy for a fabulous stay. Damien was the perfect host who made sure everything was great for us. We have already recommended to family and friends. »

« Mixed review from me for this little break. Firstly, the site at Weeley Bridge is lovely, and we shall certainly return, it was peaceful and very nature friendly. The restaurant does lovely food, not too bad on prices either, staff are very friendly and helpful and the swimming pool area is ultra clean. Top marks for the Park Dean site at Weeley Bridge. The accommodation was booked through a private owner not through Park Dean and was not strictly as described. Firstly it's not a lodge, it's a...

« We stayed in late July at this property and had the most amazing time. The property and site in general boasts great amenities and facilities. The host was very accommodating and even helped unite us with some lost items. My one recommendation would be for the host to get slightly nicer pillows for the twin rooms. But other than that I can’t have any complaints. »

« A beautiful little van, well equipped and with a sneaky little sea view, it has everything you need for a nice break. »

« The caravan wasn’t too great to stay in as there was a musky smell and the sofa and carpet could do with a clean, there was no baking trays or grill to cook on. The fire didn’t work and the heating didn’t come on regularly. Tried to get in contact with the owner by sending a text and left a voicemail on their phone but got no response from them. There was nothing open on the site which we didn’t know about. I think it’s overpriced for nothing to do there. »

« Quite site good for a short break away, east access to nice walk along the beach. »

« The caravan was lovely and clean. It rained a lot so was quite muddy ourside and being new year not much was open but the caravan itself was great, would recommend anyone wanting a break away. Nice and quiet, well kept, easy to find during the day. Thank you very much »
