« A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Christina was a a welcoming and brilliant host and it’s clear that a lot of care and attention has gone into the cottage which has everything you’d need but more than that has some great touches to make it extra special. The village is quiet and peaceful with lovely walks and pubs nearby and is situated in an ideal place for visiting lots of sights and experiences of Suffolk. All-in-all, we couldn’t recommend Potts Cottage enough. We’ll certainly be back!...

« Very well appointed and located - pretty wrap around garden with sun at different times of day- close to jetty where grandsons loved crabbing and yummy unpretentious seafood restaurants.Only reservation for some could be 2 flights of steep stairs to 2 of 3 bedrooms with only bathroom and loo downstairs— but cottage dates from 1575 so don’t expect en-suites! - what you do get is character and comfort. »

« We had a wonderful few days at The Lodge which is in a great location, secluded in the countryside and yet so near to the lovely villages of Thaxted and Saffron Walden. The lodge has been beautifully and tastefully decorated with thought being given to both comfort and practicality. Everything we could possibly have wanted was provided. « Absolutely stunning cottage in peaceful surrounding with excellent facilities. Kitchen was really well equipped and the hob/oven was easy to operate. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were perfect.We meet the host as we checked in who gave us a tour and answered all our questions.We all said we would happily stay again. »
