« A une bonne heure d'Edimbourg en pleine campagne mais pas loin de la mer cette petite maison cosy est bien équipée et confortable. Excellent accueil et charmantes attentions. Voiture indispensable. Quelques jolis lieux à découvrir pas trÚs loin comme le chùteau de Bamburgh. »

« We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property. »

« The property is extremely clean and very comfortable. The double bed in particular. The road is very quiet and leads to the promenade passing the local Coop. Its easy to park at the top of the road free of charge. The lounge area is full of light and has a large comfortable corner sofa. I would definitely sray again and would recommend. I didnt like the lack of basic store cupboard items such as oil, salt, pepper or milk. There was tea, coffee and sugar. »

« Beautiful little cottage with great sea/ harbour views. Solid fuel stove which blasted out plenty of heat, ideal for a winter visit. Fab cliff top walks and plenty choice regarding eating and drinking, either in village or nearby towns. We will return! »

« Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful .
