Dear YvonneThank you very much for taking the time to send us a very detailed review.I am very sorry that your experience was not as expected and I do apologize for this. It is very important for us that our guests are happy with their stay and in general this is the case. It is a shame that it couldn't happen to you. Again thank you for your comments that will help us to keep improving.I wish you could have talked with us during your stay rather than to see the comments on the review when there is nothing that we can do for you but as I said it will help for future clients.I would like to clarify certain points that are important to give the global view of your stay.You booked with us studio Venitienne. This is our second price option in the Villa. This 30 sqm suite is furnished with air conditioning in a comfy bedroom, a bathroom with shower and W.C.and a small but functional kitchen. It is located on the patio so the view is to the patio. This information is mentioned at the moment of the booking so I guess you were not expected to have a lagoon or montaine view from the room, However you can always access the terrace to enjoy the beauty of the Villa.You had a total of 5 nights stay with us. During your stay you never mentioned that you were unhappy. I spoke with you about your unfortunate sick problem and twice with your husband about renting bikes the day before your departure also on the phone but never about the fact that you were very unhappy with us.On the day before your check out, a taxi contacted me to say that she had a departure at 9h30 am from the Villa on your name to go to Intercontinental hotel. I thought that you were going for a day pass or breakfast but Justine called me at 9h am to tell me that you were leaving one night earlier and you were not happy because you had found 2 cockroaches in your room that morning.I came to the Villa as fast as possible to meet you before your departure and all you told me was that you were not able to stay knowing that you could find cockroaches in your room (we never found them by the way). You asked me to refund you the last night but unfortunately I told you that it wasn't possible.Then you said that you will let others guests to know that we have cockroaches in the Villa. I told you that I was totally fine with that but as I said you never mentioned the other issues.Here cockroaches flies so even if we treat every month to control the insects you will always find insects in the Villa but everywhere else in the Island even in the 5 stars hotels.As we mention at the check in and on the list of instructions that you have in your room. We do have a soft cleaning on the apartments after 48h of your arrival. In your case you check in on a saturday and your first soft cleaning was on monday. We don't have on Sunday. During this soft cleaning we swipe, make the bed and empty the trash but this is not a deep cleaning I think this is something extra that no every airbnb or guest

We wish that you could have mentioned it to us during your stay to tell our housekeepers so that they could intervene quickly.Regarding the VIP programAs we explained to you in the past we had 6000xpf credit for bike rental at the Villa this special gift from us was not always used or appreciate from our clients so we updated this year with a food credit of 3500xpf. In your case and for all the customers in transition we gave the choice between these two options. You have chosen to have breakfast option.Thank you for your comments which are heard and taken into account. Dear Guest,Thank you for your review and I am really sorry that you had such a bad experience at the Villa.For us it is very important to welcome guest at the Villa that they are aware of the place where they are coming and they are happy with their choice. The Villa Yrondi it the house of the artist Garrick Yrondi that has become a guest house. It is a unique experience surrounded by carved and painted works of the Artist that most of our guests appreciate.I understand that you were not happy with your choice and I am really sorry for that, however there are some of your complaints that I would need to clarify to make sure that everyone can have the full version of your stay with your comments and my answers.The apartment that you chose was the Sculpture suite, a two-bedroom apartment overlooking the beautiful patio and the pool. The open living room and kitchen area allow enjoying the magnificent lagoon and Mount Otemanu scenery. Beautiful artwork on all walls enhances your unique experience of Yrondi's Villa.The first bedroom is a room on its own equipped with a double bed and giving on a terrace with a lounge area to relax. The second is in an alcove, separated from the main area with curtains and equipped with twin beds. This 80 sqm suite is furnished with air conditioning in the bedrooms, a spacious bathroom with a shower and W.C., a living-room area with a comfy couch and armchairs with an open kitchen and a terrace where you can enjoy the Villa's breakfast. Regarding the insects that you mention in your review, when you called me at 8pm the same day of your check-in you asked me to come to kill the spider that unfortunately came to you room. This is Polynesia and here we are lucky to have a beautiful land with amazing landscapes but also insects. Fortunately we don't have any poisonous insects. I don't agree with what I said to you was that I was sorry that you have this spider in your room but unfortunately I was not able to come to the Villa to kill it for you with the risk to come for nothing since the spider could also decide to leave your room before I will arrive. We treat every 4/6 weeks to keep control of the insects but sometimes nature decides to visit our guest and in that case normally guest invite these insects to go outside of their room in the best way that they consider... This happens at the Villa but in any other hotel of the island including the most luxury ones.During this phone call you mentioned the spider, the fact that you wanted to have fresh new towels after a few hours of your check in but you never mentioned that your room was locked and you were not able to enter??? This was a very important detail to ask and I will have given you a solution right away. First trying to open with the key room that you had at the check in time if the room was closed as you mentioned.The office as you said, which is the art gallery where we welcome guests, is not a 24h reception.
