Just wanted to say that someone else's dog is going to the bathroom in the yard (which we cleaned up too), there were dirty dishes in the cupboards, and the water reservoir on the coffeemaker was very dirty. « My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this site. The view of Lake Huron was beautiful. The lake is RIGHT THERE! No steep steps required to get to the water. « Overall we greatly enjoyed our time here. However, there were a few issues. First, the freezer melted our ice cream. Second, we were basically told "good luck" about using the oven, which would have been nice to know before we bought groceries. Third, the heat had already been turned off for the season and it was COLD at night. Thankfully some of the beds had heaters, which was great. The fireplace downstairs is just for looks/ambience. « Cabin was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Walked the Mighty Mac which was an amazing experience. Loved the way the cabin was decorated. The only suggestion we would have is putting some slip resistant Tape in the claw foot tub. Very slippery and there is nothing to hang onto to assist you »
