Blueys Retreat
Blueys Retreat is very comfortable and the location is excellent. I think it's more aimed at family stays than couples as we rattled around a bit in our very spacious two bedroom villa. However no complaints, it was all very clean and well maintained.

Clean, comfortable, quiet location, beautiful rainforest and gardens with lots of birds. Shops and beach nearby. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

The property was very well set out and our accommodation was very roomy. There was plenty of bedding. There was only a gas heater downstairs and the upstairs was very cold. We got a headache and felt a bit sick after the heater had been on for a while. There was mould on the tiles around the bath and in the plug hole and the toilet was dirty under the rim.

Property was clean. The location was great. The townhouse had everything we need and was spacious. It was really quiet and comfortable. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. TV in the main bedroom would be a good addition. I am happy to clean up after myself and put dishwasher on, but having to empty the dishwasher before check out is a pain especially if you have a cooked breakfast in the morning. But, that’s minor, overall, we would most definitely stay again.

The design was magnificent as were the surrounds, cleanliness and service. No rails made it a challenge sending and descending the stairs with my limited mobility. Some kitchen equipment missing.

I would highly recommend this property. Great location, quiet and peaceful. Amenities are great. I could easily live there! Staff are very friendly and welcoming and will do anything for you. Thank you so much for looking after all our wedding guests. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the cleanliness of your property wasn’t up to the standard our guests have come to expect from us, and that we pride ourselves on delivering. We don’t like to hear this happen but our housekeeping staffs are always on hand to address these issues should they arise. Hope to see you again soon and show that this is not our standard and that we are capable of providing so much more to cater for our guests.

Thank you for staying with us and leaving your review. All of our properties are equipped with high ceilings and fans in every room (upstairs and downstairs) unfortunately on those exceptionally hot days we do feel the heat. Even more recently we also have properties with air-conditioning upstairs and downstairs. We love listening to our guest’s feedback!

The property is nestled in bush and was awesome to hear all the birds every morning. One of the single beds was quite uncomfortable however the reception staff are helpful and friendly! For the amount that we paid in off peak season, we would have expected that the accommodation was in a more modern kitchen. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back again.

Great place to wind down
Blueys Retreat is located in a peaceful little seaside village near Boodi Boodi National Park. The 3 bed townhouse I stayed in overlooked a rainforest and was quiet and peaceful. Excellent facilities with screens, digital tv and music, air conditioning, a full kichen and back veranda with bbq. Bedrooms were upstairs and the main bedroom was comfort with a good size ensuite. The complex had a pool and tennis court and friendly staff. Walking distance to cafes and shops and the beach is a few blocks further. Very pleasant place in a stunning area of lakes, forests and white sand.
