« Weekend trip to explore the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience. House was a perfect location! »

« Note: "Pet Friendly" only extends to dogs under 20 pounds. The park trails along the Potomac were its best feature. They start just a very short walk from the front door. The house worked out very well for us. It was sparsely furnished and some elements were slightly shabby, but it was fine as we were most interested in getting together. It was excellent value for the many bedrooms. Just don't expect a mansion. »

« The pictures don't do this home or property justice. The home is so cosy and welcoming. The property is so large and beautiful. There’s something for everyone: a fire pit for ganging out and smores, swimming pool, fishing, sitting on the front porch to read, a game/billards room, and a large field to play in. There are plenty of supplies and dishes so you dont have to worry about any of that. It was so nice an relaxing! »

« You're close to many places but you feel like you're in your own little world. Very quiet and peaceful. The house has many rooms, which I think is great! So many places to spread out and relax and do what you want. We didn't get to try the pool out very much due to weather, but it's also a nice, relaxing spot. Our family had a great time! »

« The property was perfect for a long weekend of sports at a nearby complex. Each family had their own room and bathroom. The common areas were spacious and the grounds just breathtaking. We will be back! »

« Hilldale Farmhouse has a lot of history and beauty. We had a family wedding with folks traveling from Fl. we all wanted to stay in one place. It was perfect. What I did not realize was the porch with the two twin beds was only screened in. Since this was the case we had a couple folks sleeping on couches. Other than that it was wonderful. »

« Tip of the hill was a great place to stay! All needs were met staying here. Laura was great and communicated well. We had family arrive from NYC, Maine, Arizona and Ohio. Great central location for Fall wedding nearby. »

« We enjoyed the beauty of nature and farmland around the farmhouse, also the unique blend of old and new in the house itself. We were visiting family in the area and this gave us a lovely place to come “home” to. »

« Waterford is far enough away from Washington, but close enough to make a weekend getaway easy. And staying at Scarlet Springs Farm for the weekend was truly the icing on the cake. And Laura and her family made our stay even better. The house is well appointed - fantastic kitchen, comfy beds, beautiful views from back deck. This is a wonderful location to visit so many interesting vineyards, farm stands, nurseries, and some very nice restaurants in Purcellville. We look forward to visiting...

« No silk flower arrangements or annoying attempts at decorating. The space was clean, exactly as described, the kitchen space was helpful, and the bed a welcome respite.The only thing that would make it better is a Keurig! Gotta have brewed coffee first thing! »

« The home was beautifully decorated & very clean. We arrived at 4:00 pm on Friday & unfortunately had to leave for a family emergency at home less than an hour later so never got to explore the town or property. »

« The area and property was gorgeous. The house was beautifully placed in the middle of horses 🐎. We all enjoyed it all. Probably could update a few things in the kitchen for supplies. »
