We landed in Beirut at 4am and we got to thd hotel at 6am. The room was ready and they let us check in extra early. Great hotel!!!!

Great Olympic swimming pool and private beach
Rayanne on reception looked after me from the minute I arrived and always came over to say hello when she saw me passing the front desk to make sure everything was alright and this made my stay enjoyable. I had a lovely seaview room with a balcony from which I could also see the swimming pools. The indoor 25m pool and gym were closed for renovations but there was a small fitness room available. Try the sushi from Tamashii on the rooftop if you're there in the summer or go to Tamashii in Gemmayzeh for the best sushi in town.

Disapointing and far from nice areas
Except the nice view nothing to do in this area, restaurants in the hotel are empty and overall sad, only one bar with view on a rooftop.... this part of the city is always with traffic jam. Shopping hall is so sad ... the trend is not really good and it might have been a nice hotel some years from now ... Iron table was not really flat and impossible to keep in standing :) Room has been cleaned around 17:00 .... Many better areas and Hotels in Beyrouth. I won't do this mistake twice.

hotel is ok.
We staid 2 nights at the movenpick Beirut. The hotel facilities are very good, big pools, easy access to the beach. Unfortunately, the hotel has a lot of staff doing nothing and the service is very slow, by this I mean that for example the beach was closed because the sea brought some stones on the hotel private beach. Instead of doing nothing, the pool staff could have clean it because weather was 33 degrees. Also, you wait about 10-15 minutes to get a coffee served. also, beverage pricing are quiet expensive. We had a light in our bathroom that didn't work (flashing) for the 2 nights and the cleaning staff do change it. The location is ok but far from city center (beirut souks) because a lot of traffic about 15 min.

This stay was very disappointing. I didn’t have breakfast the last two days and there was no coffee in the room. I understand the renovation going on but the service was not up to the standards set by Movenpick.

The Movenpick Beirut is the best choice in the area. The pool complex is one of the best in the world. Everything is clean and the service is the best around. The manager Ashraf was extremely accommodating and the breakfast dining room staff provided the highest level of service. Some guest rooms have not yet been updated, but they are in the process. Overall, you cannot go wrong with this property.

Our favourite part about this hotel was the breakfast! Absolutely incredible and still dreaming about it. Staff and service were great and facilities were fantastic. The room itself was a little underwhelming and dated compared to the rest of the hotel but was overall a pleasant stay.

+The room was big and nice + Breakfast and dinner at the Lebanese restaurant was perfect! -The service at the reception is poor. The manager was rude. -the pool was so crowded. Most of the people are not from the hotel. In the end of the day, there were plastic cups on the bottom that we stepped on constantly, and hair ((( I definitely expected more from a Mövenpick!

We enjoyed spending a week as a family at the Movenpick Beirut. The rooms are large and clean. The restaurants are fabulous. The pools and gym are excellent. However, the best of all is the staff. Everyone is polite and helpful, but above all, nice. They treat you as if you were a guest at their home. We will come back for sure.
