« Stayed in a private ensuite double, was really clean and friendly hostel. Roof top bar was lovely. The ladies on reception speak excellent English and were really helpful! Only drawback is the beds are a futon mattress on the floor, so keep that in mind if you need something higher! The streets outside are well stocked with bars and restaurants, the metro is a short walk away! »

« This place was horrible. A nightmare in China! I woke up with bed bugs and I saw cockroaches crawling in kitchen during dinner. I don’t know how ppl rate it so high. I guess it is good if you are looking for something very cheap, but you get what you pay for! You were warned. »

Odeur d'égoût dans le hall et dans la salle de bain. Lits DURS ! Les lits ne sont pas faits. Entrée de la femme de ménage le dernier jour sans frapper alors que le Check out n'est pas passé. « You gotta get here! After a week in a decent room in Beijing, this was a spa-like getaway. The place is beautiful and details are well attended to. The staff is great at communicating and can help set up drivers and tours as you are interested. « The staff were amazing - welcoming, friendly, can't fault them in any way. They made the stay that much better! Can be a little hard to find if you don't know where you're going, it's down a little street you wouldn't think there'd be a hostel. The place itself had a nice atmosphere to it and the dorm was perfectly fine with a locker to put your stuff in for the day/night. Clean bedding. Wish I'd stayed a bit longer! »

« Our room was really wet and the only window we had was on the common area where the staff spent most of his time talking loud, playing video games and music after midnight. Staff was not really useful neither paying attention to us. Terre were not very polite or respectful. It was like we were disturbing them by staying in the hostel. Bathrooms were really dirty. « Dragon hostel is quiet and clean with great access to the National Art Museum (NAMoC) and Beihei park. My room was simple, had good aircon, and a good bed. There is no road noise and the location is very quiet. easy access to Dongsi Metro station. The wifi is slow and intermittent but otherwise still useful. the staff are always available and speak english. I would stay again given the location. »

« base-wangfujing was a fantastic "base" for our stay in Beijing. Easy access to the Subway and with lots of restaurants and bars - both traditional and contemporary - within easy walking distance. Easy walking distance to many of the main sties of central Beijing - Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, BeiHai park and the intriguing maze of hustings around NanLuoGuXiang. « Very large room that is decently clean and comes with a kitchen, washer dryer, living area and sofa. Breakfast was decent and relatively inexpensive with ok options. Cleanliness is acceptable but the key concern is the room air conditioning. We went in the spring so we could live with the weak air conditioning. However, it might be hard to deal with during the summertime. Will recommend the Japanese restaurant at the hotel lobby. Food and drinks are absolutely fantastic. »
