In 2003 this village was awarded the orange flag by the Italian Touring Club, for the beauty and promotion of cultural heritage, environmental protection, culture of hospitality, quality of catering and local products.
In fact, here you will find excellent restaurants and cellars, where you can taste the flavors of Tuscan cuisine.

Barberino Val d'Elsa is the ideal starting point both for day trips to Florence and Siena, and for reaching other enchanting Chianti villages (such as Greve in Chianti, Panzano, Castellina, Radda in Chianti) or medieval villages in the Tuscan countryside (such as San Gimignano, Certaldo, Monteriggioni, Volterra).

Lastly, you can easily reach the beautiful Badia a Passignano (just 10 minutes from the property), a medieval abbey, definitely worth seeing, with its secret gardens and frescoes by Ghirlandaio.

Elegant rental property that can accommodate up to 20 guests in 10 bedrooms with 11 bathrooms.

Lower Floor: Where the wellness center and spa are located. It has a heated hydromassage pool with an amazing panoramic view, a sauna, an automatic Shiatsu massage bed, a gym with treadmills and exercise bikes, 2 showers and a changing room. The wellness center is available exclusively for our guests. Massages and beauty treatments are available upon request.

Ground Floor: A large paved area, once a courtyard, leads into a large and characteristic terracotta main living room with stone walls, exposed beams and arches which offers a truly unique and relaxing atmosphere thanks to the elegant sofas and armchairs and the typical Tuscan fireplace. Beside there is another large living room / dining room with a long table for 12-14 people, two service bathrooms and the main kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, oven and everything needed to cook for 20 people.
On this floor, there is also a suite consisting of a lovely living room with fireplace and sofa, a second small kitchen, and a double bedroom #1 with private bathroom with shower. All these areas have air conditioning and mosquito nets.
From each of the kitchens and bedroom, it is possible to access the outdoor areas.

First Floor: here there is a large lounge room with a fireplace and comfortable sofas, a living room for relax & Tv and 7 double bedrooms:

A living room with fireplace, a double bedroom #9 (170*190 cm.), a twin bedroom #10 with two single beds that can be joined on request into a double bed (queen size bed 170x190 cm.); a bathroom with shower and bathtub.
The large loggia, the private garden and the direct access to the swimming pool make the Cottage a fantastic place.

The villa for rent has been recently renovated with wi-fi fiber internet connection, mosquito nets, safes, smoke and Co2 detectors... and is equipped with many other luxury comforts: Spa, Air Conditioning, Children's Play Area, Billiard Table.

Our opinion
This rental villa is one of the best choices for a large group who wish to have an unforgettable vacation in Tuscany. The villa has just about everything you could ask for: perfect location, recently refurbished, large bedrooms all with views, private pool, spa, jacuzzi and sauna. It is the perfect place to organize an intimate wedding immersed in the greenery of Tuscany.
