« Hotel bien situé, sur la promenade . Je pense que nous avons eu la plus petite des chambres, sans vue sur la promenade, dommage ! Le premier matin plus d’eau froide, douche prise dans une autre chambre. Le 2eme matin en remontant du petit déjeuner clé désactivée nous ne pouvions plus rentrer dans la chambre. Petit dejeuner tres bien. Repas tres correct. »

« Well located hotel within five minutes walk of the ferry port. An old fashioned style B and B with seemingly new owners (Opul Group). Rooms are large but maybe a little in need of a refresh. Everything clean. Breakfast included which was surprisingly excellent. Buffet style but even catered for us as vegans which was amazingly welcome. Well located for the town centre, next door to wetherspoons which can be loud on a weekend, but no huge problem. »

« Lovely hotel on the sea front. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Shops, restaurants, steam railway all within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. « Great view! Unfortunately the hotel is shabby at best and left us feeling conned, as the online description and suspiciously positive reviews paint a misleading picture. Peeling wallpaper and piles of bedding left in narrow hallways from one day to the next. No amenities other than a kettle and a TV - the cheap kettle had scalding steam coming out of the handle and the TV didn't work. No wifi. Grimy windows and flaking paint.
