The location is a perfect location from which to explore the island and it’s worth it to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase a guest past to the Shoals Club, which is first class. « We stayed at the Fire Cottage as part of a Wedding Party on the Island. The location could not be beat for proximity to the Ferry terminal and all of the functions for the wedding. Really enjoyed the location and the uniqueness of the property. Having the golf cart included was superb. »

« The listing is accurate. The host was wonderful in replying to our texts. We had a lovely time with a teen and a 5 year old. Highly recommend taking the Shoals club membership (3-5 minute ride in golf cart). If you get membership 5 days before the day you intend to use, being a guest here waives your $100 admin fee. You still need to pay the club fee (look up their site) but it was totally worth it! The house was perfect for our family of four! »

Two comments, the freezer was producing frost and not efficiently producing ice, an ice machine would be a nice addition for the well planned kitchen. « Beach Paws is a lovely, new home in pristine condition located a short walk from the beach and the BHI Conservancy compound. The kitchen is abundantly outfitted with dishes, pots and pans, spices, utensils, and glassware. The beds are all extremely comfortable and the bedrooms are quiet, which made it possible for the children to go to bed early and the adults enjoy family games and time together without worry of waking them up.
