« This is a very cute little second floor apartment right in the heart of Largs. The Viking Fesitval was a quick walk down a slight hill. We never needed a car because it was so easy to walk everywhere. We created a slight problem and the owners were very responsive and very kind. The place was very quiet, even when we slept with a window open. If we get an opportunity to return to Scotland Largs will be high on our list of places to visit and we’ll hopefully book this same place for our stay. »

« A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find. »

« Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants, takeouts, stores and pubs. All in all a great stay since being there for 5 nights we had a kitchen/fridge/dining table and living room - especially since most breakfast restaurants are not open until 9am. Had some questions about the hot water and the owner was responsive and helpful. Only complaint was too many stairs for us with luggage since I am diabetic and had a broken shoulder. Wasn't a problem without our luggage. »
