Welcome to our stunning Lake Travis retreat! This 4-bedroom, 2-bath home offers breathtaking Texas Hill Country sunsets, walls of windows, and spacious decks. The home sleeps 12, features a king primary suite, and a game room with a pool table. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and streaming services. Relax with Sonos speakers throughout, and bring your pets along! Only 25 minutes from downtown Austin, this perfect escape is near marinas, parks, and boat rentals.

Step into a world of comfort and style as you enter this beautiful home. The living room, adorned with expansive windows, fills the space with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Unwind on the sleeper sofa while watching your favorite shows on the large smart TV or connect with high-speed Wi-Fi for a seamless streaming experience.

The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, offers everything you need to prepare delicious meals. Adjacent to the kitchen, the elegant dining room provides ample space for your group to enjoy meals together. The Sonos speakers throughout the house ensure you can enjoy your favorite music in every room.

On the main floor, the primary bedroom features a luxurious king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity. Downstairs, you'll find two queen bedrooms, each with a hanging chair, perfect for a relaxing read or simply taking in the view. The bunk bed room, with its four built-in twin beds, is ideal for children or additional guests. All beds are fitted with custom luxury hotel linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

The lower level of the home boasts a game room equipped with a kitchenette, fridge, pool table, and other games, providing endless entertainment options. This level also grants access to the enclosed porch, a serene spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Both full bathrooms are stocked with all the essentials, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. The in-unit laundry, located on the bottom floor, ensures you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Pets are welcome, so feel free to bring your furry friends along for the adventure but note that we don't have a fenced in area for them.

The property features two expansive decks, perfect for taking in the stunning hill country views. One deck is open with comfortable furniture and a hanging chair, ideal for soaking in the scenery, while the other is screened in, perfect for enjoying the fresh Texas air in the evenings. The decks are perfect for relaxing outside or BBQing.

Just a few steps below, the backyard now boasts our brand-new Cowboy Pool. This chic stock-tank plunge pool comes with a built-in heater and chiller, letting you dial up a toasty soak when the nights turn crisp or cool things down after a sun-drenched lake day. It’s a playful, year-round oasis that turns an already gorgeous outdoor area into your own private mini-resort.

Parking is available in both the upper and lower driveways. The upper driveway has an electric vehicle charger available and offers a steep walk down some stairs, while the lower driveway requires climbing 61 steps but provides easier parking.

Accessing the home requires climbing a long flight of outdoor stairs that are steep and can be uneven in places. This is a common feature of lakefront properties, but it's definitely a bit of a climb! Please consider this carefully if anyone in your group has mobility concerns. Please note that Lake Travis is a dynamic reservoir known for its fluctuating water levels, designed to capture water during rainy seasons and conserve it during drier periods. Guests will have access to the entire home plus both decks, grill (gas and charcoal), hammock, hanging chair, Sonos speakers, pool table, games and backyard at the house. Also available is parking in the upper lot and also in the back of the home. Need an electric vehicle charger? We have one available for your use in the upper driveway!! Cypress Creek Park is just down the road. There is a public boat ramp as well as many picnic benches.

We can provide referrals for on site yoga classes and massage therapy at the house.

If you need recommendations, we'll be available to provide them otherwise you'll have complete privacy. We'll provide you with access information before you arrive, so you'll have super quick and easy entry.

After booking you'll be provided a link where you can purchase upgrades to your booking such as early check-in and late check-out, additional cleanings, and more that will make your Austin experience even better!

We don't charge a security deposit! Where many hosts charge over $500, and where you as the guest risk them not returning your deposit – Austin Vacay remains guest-centric by charging a one-time, non-refundable fee (already included in your booking price) which provides up to $1,500 of coverage towards unintentional rental property damages (subject to plan terms and conditions). Several episodes from the final season (season 11) of The Walking Dead were filmed in this cove!

Getting around is quick and easy. The house is situated right on Bullick Hollow Rd, which gives you direct access to FM 620, as well as 2769 (Lime Creek). There isn't much public transportation in the area, so you are best having a car available, but you can easily use any ride-sharing company like Lyft or Uber into downtown and back. We will provide codes in your booking email and in the House Manual.
We also have two driveways; an upper from the main road, and then a lower driveway at the lake level. We recommend the lower driveway as the upper driveway is very steep and is good for only 2 vehicles (NO TRUCKS). There are a maximum of 4 vehicles allowed at the property total. Please minimize the in and out traffic on the lower driveway and close the gate behind you.

We have security cameras outside of our home at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside of the home, respecting our guests' privacy.

House was a good hill country experience, beautiful location and very comfortable! However, the house was not very clean, and some lights didn’t work properly. The garbage from previous guests was never picked up outside because of the holidays and it was unpleasant to have the garbage there during 3 days even though i asked for it to be picked up.

Beautiful Home

A group of friends and I rented this property for a birthday gathering and it was the perfect space for our group of 11. We loved the upper deck which was absolutely beautiful at sun set.be sure to read the Parking instructions before arriving to have a smooth check in process.

Not what we expected

It was nearly impossible to park in the upper spots and having to park in the lower area the stairs up to the house are worn and falling apart. Overall the house was on the dirty side, hair in the bathtubs, mold in the washer, dirty floors, etc. We had to clean the vacuum provided out ourselves because it was so clogged it wouldn’t suck anything up. The fridge door shelves were nonexistent as they were all broken.

Relaxing time

We had an extremely relaxing time with our family here. The place is very conveniently located. The instructions from the host were accurate and helpful. Everything in the house is well organized and we didn’t have any trouble locating anything whatsoever. Parking on the upper deck is a little tricky, but it is more convenient to carry luggage into the house compared to the lower deck. The wifi stopped working and we couldn’t locate the router. It wasn’t a big deal as we had very good wireless signal and used our cellphone hotspot.

We enjoyed the beautiful lake views through the large windows and cozy porch. The Sono sound system on both floors is an excellent addition, the TV was great, and the pool table is a great touch. The large kitchen table was wonderful for the family to gather around however, the rest of the kitchen was filthy when we arrived; crumbs & goo on the counters, sticky food residue in the fridge, and so much grease in the oven it smoked up the whole house....not the best first impression & I’m still wondering why I paid a cleaning fee for a dirty house. A few things to be aware of: The stairs to get to the back door from the lake are no joke! The range of ages for my family are 31-65 and we all struggled with how many stairs were there. Make sure you’re ready!  There were no hand towels in the bathrooms or kitchen making it very inconvenient after washing your hands unless you bring a lot of paper towels.   The inside staircase from the lower level bedrooms to the upper living area were extremely steep and there was no handrail.  Instead, there is a net that was very difficult for some family members to use.  Just something to be mindful of. This house advertises sleeping for 12 but only has seating in the living room for 5 people (6 seats advertised in the pictures online).  It would have been nice to have more soft seating for family members around the TV area to accommodate the same amount of people that can sleep.  The email response time between me and the home owner prior to my reservation was stressful. I rented this home during Christmas with a full understanding that everyone else in the world was also celebrating this holiday however, as a landlord there should be someone available to assist issues/concerns in a timely manner. By timely manner I mean, my stay was 20 days ago, I’ve sent two emails because I have yet to receive my deposit back and the owner and management company have yet to respond to me. Now I get to spend my personal time making phone calls to get my money back, thanks for nothing. Hopefully my communication situation is an isolated event for this home but I read the several horrible reviews for this home and I should have believed them. The low rental price just about matches the quality of the home but I wouldn’t stay here again after taking more time and reviewing the other homes in the area.

Awesome Views and Great Setup for Groups

We had a great time at this rental house this weekend. We were in town for a wedding at the Hacienda del Lago, and this place could not have had a better location for the event. It was only about 3 minutes away. It was the perfect place to enjoy our wine and coffee when we weren't involved in the wedding festivities. The house is great for groups with its two separate porches and two separate living areas (one with a pool table). Access to the lake is super easy, and next time we will definitely bring our boat. The kids had a great time swimming off the dock and had quite an adventure (including a kayak rescue) retrieving an inner tube that got away from them. They also loved staying in the bunk room, although the beds definitely looked nice enough to accommodate adults. I noticed a couple of comments about the driveway, and although it is steep, we did not have a problem accessing it multiple times in our mini-van. I definitely would not let the description of the driveway or steps deter you from this home. You will miss out on a truly spectacular view. Owner/Manager was very flexible with my many requests, and I really appreciated it since I was coordinating with other families. They always responded to my questions/requests quickly...even on a holiday.

Beautiful property, amenities lacking

The home was gorgeous and the location is amazing. The parking is very difficult to maneuver, had I known how difficult the parking would be I would have probably not picked the home. There were no extra hand towels or wash rags left for guests to use. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the home but some of the little details that guests would need were lacking.

The most perfect Lake House on the City Limits

The Lake House on the City Limits was perfect! The house is bright and open with gorgeous modern and bohemian decor (we had 12 girls staying here and all of us were obsessed as soon as we walked in). The views are unreal and having the huge balcony made them even better, plus there was plenty of space for all of us inside. Can't say enough good things about the place, we're already talking about making it a summer tradition!

Everything was as described & perfect for our group's needs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house & its grounds were just as advertised. Ames & Camille were very responsive & easy to deal with and we appreciated all the information they provided in advance of our stay and via the HomeAway app. In particular, the warning about the size & pitch of the main driveway was very useful, especially with more than one vehicle. Water pressure & temp in the upstairs shower were noted by other guests as issues and we'd echo the same comments, but downstairs facilities were fine and we just relied more heavily on those. Beds were very comfortable, pool table was fun, and the main room & its deck provide a wonderful space for a large group to hang out together. Outdoor grill struggled to hold temp so maybe test before setting a menu or cook times; there are two grill so the second may be fine, but we only tried the one on the deck itself. In total, it's a wonderful property, was perfect for our group's needs, and Ames & Camille made for a very easy rental experience. Thanks!

Not what we expected

This rental turned out to be a disappointment. The driveway was extremely steep and very dangerous to drive in and out of. The back entrance was easier however there were 61 steps to get to the main house. There was a constant ant problem and there were cob webs underneath the furniture and around the stairs. There was also a problem with the water pressure in one of the bathrooms. Camille was very nice and addressed our issues right away, however I do not recommend this home for families with children and or elderly.these features were not stated on the website when we had rented the home , however we are glad it has been updated now.

Very relaxing vacation house on the lake

Great stay, very nice lake house, everything went as discussed, plenty of room for everybody and very convenient location. 5 mins away from Marina where we rented a boat and jet skis, 5 mins away from Oasis (amazing view and sunset dinner place). Nice layout, pretty interior, perfect upscale modern cabin on the lake!

Loved the private feeling of this airy lakeside home.

This facilities and the house were very enjoyable. A clean, open feeling throughout the house was very welcoming. Nestled on the edge of a hill over looking Lake Travis gives superlative views and photo opportunities through out the day. The lake access along with the available kayaks and paddle boat provided lots to do for older children and teens. The pool table proved excellent entertainment during the one day it rained as well as evenings. Wifi and the large screen TV was ample to keep all the devices running at top speed. The extra refrigerator on the lower level surely made for fewer trips up and down the stairs! While this home is located conveniently to shopping and dining it feels isolated and private. Only two miles to a major grocery store made shopping after arrival quite easy. No packing and icing food! The Oasis on Lake Travis as well as other restaurants within 3 miles make it easy to feed our large group on the nights we did not want to cook! This home is a perfect setting for a vacation the feels like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We would recommend this property to friends and family. We would caution this is not for persons with mobility handicaps.
