The Gateway - 6BED W Two Houses, GameRoom & Pool

Summary:
The gateway is centered near everything that the city of Austin has to offer. You are only minutes from the lake or to downtown. The location is impeccable, yet feels secluded and private. This 4800 sqft home is the epitome of luxury. Every single sleeping space is resort style, spacious and professionally designed. All bedrooms have their own private bathroom and you get to enjoy the luxury of having two separate houses with fully equipped kitchens and spacious living rooms in both residences.

The Space:
The home is separated into the main house and the back house. 4 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms in the main house and 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms in the back house. NOTE: Two of the bedrooms in the main house do not have windows which is GREAT for a full nights sleep! Those two bedrooms are only large enough for 2 people to stay in. Each house has a full kitchen and living arrangement. We have several vendors that service the home that may stop by such as pool or lawn care and they may come by without notice. They are only there to service the exterior of the home and will not enter the interior unless notified otherwise.

The Neighborhood:
The Gateway is centrally located near every hotspot, thing to do or venue you could want to find or need in the city. The neighborhood itself is spacious and feels secluded.

Getting Around:
Car or ride share is the best way to get around.

Downtown Austin: 24 minutes
The Domain: 15 minutes
Lake Travis: 14 minutes
Concordia University: 10 minutes
University of Texas: 22 minutes
Kalahari Resort: 20 minutes
Crystal Falls Golf Club: 15 minutes
Balcones Canyonlands: 25 minutes

Other Things to Note:
This home is in a residential area. It is vital that guests of this home are cognizant of quiet hours and to be aware that there are neighbors to the property.

Additional Note:

-Volleyball net is unavailable for use.
-Please not move any furniture in the home
-The sofa in the primary bedroom does not pull out to a bed but it can be slept on

⚠Please be aware that POOL HEATING IS UNAVAILABLE If the heater is turned on, a $500 fee will be applied.
Pool maintenance is performed weekly without prior notice. The team ensures the pool is serviced regularly each week.

Interaction with Guests:
You’ll have your space but I’m available if you need me! We have several vendors that service the home that may stop by such as pool or lawn care and they may come by without notice. They are only there to service the exterior of the home and will not enter the interior unless notified otherwise.

This large house was a perfect fit for our family get-away weekend. It has large rooms and there is a private bathroom for every bedroom. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, the pool and hot tub were a delight. Owner was very fast to text me back with answers to a couple of questions I had. Our family enjoyed our weekend stay at The Gateway!

We were in town for my nephew's wedding in Georgetown, and we booked this house for 3 nights. The house is beautiful and very spacious and even has a pool and small guest house in the back. The house was very clean when we arrived and equipped with everything we could possibly need, including pool table, games, toiletries, pots/pans/dishes/utensils, and stuff to make coffee. We didn't even have to venture out to Starbucks for coffee! The location is perfect. Grocery stores and restaurants and retail shops are all within a few miles/minutes from the house. And the neighborhood is very nice and quiet. I would highly recommend this home to anyone with a large family, as it has SO much space. I will definitely consider staying here again should we need to rent a home in this area in the future.

Blake was very easy to get in touch with and made the process of checking in and out a breeze. The rental was exactly as described and even larger than the pictures appear. Being only about 20 minutes outside of Austin is nice for the convenience and the quiet. Everything that would be needed, i.e. grocery. coffee, gas, and alcohol are all within a 5 minute drive from the location. The pool and hot tub area are well laid out. Controlling the pool is a little annoying from the app, but not the worst thing to worry about. The next time we visit Austin area, we will definitely keep in mind staying here again. House was great! There are actually 2 houses. Smaller one in the back yard. It was really spacious and clean. Blake responded right away. Big tv in the living room and fast wifi as well. Just know that at the time of our visit there was no bbq but you could bring your own. There were a lot of food options around and quick trip to a grocery store.

This home was stunning and a great location. My group and I were disappointed with a few things that were wrong with our stay. The house wasn’t fully cleaned upon arrival. The bedsheets were dirty and the clean towels were damp and smelled. The window screen by the front door is also falling off. Overall, we love the house but the condition of the house and the smell throughout it made our stay a little unpleasant. I’m not sure if there was a backup with the septic tanks but as we arrived it was overwhelming. A few of my guests had a migraine from how strong the sewage smell was. The mother in law suite located in the backyard (besides the toilet being overflowed upon arrival) didn’t have bed sheets put on. We did contact the property manager and he sent out a plumber within 24 hours. We were also unable to use the Wi-Fi or the hot tub. We also contacted property manager about that and was told the information we had was correct, but 12 of us were unable to connect which was a little frustrating. Again, this was a stunning home but a few things could have made this stay much more pleasurable.
