  • Cet appartement d'hôtes confortable est situé sur le même terrain que la maison du propriétaire dans le quartier résidentiel historique de Hyde Park. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est inclus pendant votre séjour tels que linge de maison, une cuisine, une télévision à écran plat, et d'un lit queen size. Hyde Park offre un accès facile au centre-ville, qui est juste au sud de la maison. Il est à distance de marche facile (un à trois blocs) de la ville multiple et UT arrêts de bus, restaurants Hyde Park, un magasin de boulangerie / café, Fresh Plus épicerie de quartier, des courts de tennis, un parc, et de nombreuses autres entreprises Austin locales. Il est un endroit idéal pour marcher, faire du vélo, ou tout simplement profiter de l'atmosphère calme et relaxante tout en étant proche du centre-ville.

    Nous sommes favorables à la famille et peut accueillir les enfants de 5 ans ou plus. Total de 2 personnes comprend tous les enfants. Ce studio est un appartement au premier étage. Il est un cran dans la salle de bains et toilettes que toute personne ayant des problèmes de mobilité peut-être besoin d'être au courant avant de louer.

Overall a good stay for one person:Clean roomQuiet neighborhood Good air conditioning Reserved parking spot in front of apartment 1 con I experienced was an odor when you first enter the room. I got used to it after sometime so it wasn’t a deal breaker, but there was an odor every time I entered the unit. That being said, I would recommend this place for a short stay. It’s close to UT and several restaurants.

Cozy Efficiency

Well equipped studio unit with comfortable bed and seating. Great open closet in bathroom area (addition of luggage rack or bench would be helpful).I found the almost constant noise from the dehumidifier and HVAC unit annoying.The step up to toilet mentioned in description was more like a step and a half (13-14”) and there was no safety grab bar present although there was a small step stool available in the kitchenette to assist with ascending to and descending from the toilet. With the toilet “step” and additional regular steps into bathroom and up to shower this place is not suited to individuals with certain mobility or reduced vision issues.

We liked the location Great walking neighborhood. The unit was clean and bed comfortable. The only drawback was the bathroom. An handlebar at toilet and shower would be a safety feature that many would use.

Parking is somewhat tight and the alley to enter the property is narrow, with garbage cans along the side. However, the location is prime. The inside is very neat and tidy, just be sure to bring your own shampoo/soap, etc. Also needs a better shower head. But, overall good quality with an attentive host!

Clean, Neat, Awesome Location

The unit was clean, neat and conveniently located. The location is awesome for central Austin but close to the 1 or the 35, so going south or north is no problem. When there is no traffic, you can be at almost every significant place from south to north in under 20 minutes. When there is traffic, you can get downtown or the university in 15 to 20 minutes. I don't suggest traveling either north or south during rush hour, a 15 minute trip could take an hour. Another nice feature are all the tree lined streets around the unit. Taking a walk in the neighborhood is wonderful. Truly an urban forest.

Very clean and neat, perfect for 2 people

The apartment was clean when we arrived and is in a very cute part of Austin. It was perfect for 2 people staying for ACL that need just enough space to sleep and hang out and get ready for the day.

Well-appointed studio apartment

My husband and I were so pleased with this rental. Everything was attractive, comfortable and clean -- just what we needed. The lovely neighborhood shops and restaurants made the decision to stay here even better. We would be happy to return!

Hyde Park - Wonderful location

Exactly as described, the room was very clean and equipped with everything you would need. Very close to a great array of cafes, bars, shops and even a brilliant Italian restaurant. Pete was easy to contact and easy and polite to deal with. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay a while in Austin.

My mum stayed for almost two months and was extremely pleased with the attentiveness of Pete. The property was precisely what she was looking for as it is ideally located. Highly recommend this property.

Fantastic spot and price

Pete was very quick to reply to any and all questions. The unit is in a nice Hyde park nieghborhood and convenient to anywhere around Austin. Very clean and comfortable space as well. My wife and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Clean, comfortable and close to everything

Pete was a great host. Very helpful and informative. We loved the place. Its especially nice if your doing work at the campus. The beighborhood was realky nice and super safe for strolls at dusk. Just a couple blocks away are some super cool eateries abd wine shops as well as a trebdy grocery. Loved it! Thanks Pete

Very clean and fresh

Pros: no shoes allowed in apartment so rug was very clean; no fragrances or chemical smells so room was very fresh; bed was comfortable; mini fridge was cold; shower stall and curtain were squeaky clean; parking space is located right outside door; and owner was quick to reply. Cons: VRBO ad is misleading. The ad shows picture of upstairs unit with deck but the rental unit is really downstairs and around the back, on the alley with no deck and no porch; no washer/dryer in room; small freezer in mini fridge was iced over and in need of defrosting so it was unusable. This ad is deceptive; I was expecting the upstairs apartment with deck as pictured in the ad so I was very disappointed that my room was a different room located on the back side of the building and opening on the alley. There was no deck and no washer/dryer in the room. Owner gave me the option to move upstairs to the apartment pictured in the ad-- BUT I would have had to pay additional cost of about $40 plus tax PER DAY plus VBRO fee. I would recommend this property with the warning that it is not the upstairs apartment with a deck shown in the ad.

Cosy and Homey

In the past we have rented a few flats from Pete and we have always been happy. This particular flat is very welcoming, well decorated and very clean. We recommend this unit or any other units owned by Pete since he takes such good care of his vacation rentals.
