The Space:

Out back, the heated mosaic-tile pool is open year-round and sits beneath a massive shade tree, so it stays comfortable even on the hottest Texas afternoons. The fully fenced backyard is all yours. Grab a seat at the bistro table on the deck, gather around the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs, or relax on the lawn under the shade sail and string lights. It's the perfect spot for a private hangout before or after a night out.



Inside, reclaimed wood ceilings, vintage finds, and a cognac leather sofa create a warm, curated feel. Both bedrooms have king beds with soft linen bedding, and each has its own full bath, including a glass walk-in shower with brass fixtures. The full kitchen comes with a Nespresso coffee maker, and a dedicated workspace with ultra-fast Wi-Fi makes it easy to get work done between outings.

The Neighborhood:

You're staying in the heart of SoCo, one of Austin's most beloved neighborhoods, on a quiet side street just off South Congress Avenue. Step outside and you're minutes on foot from the "I love you so much" mural, the legendary Continental Club, and Jo's Coffee, plus local favorites like Perla's for seafood and oysters, Güero's Taco Bar, Hopdoddy, Home Slice Pizza, and Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams.



South Congress is known for its one-of-a-kind shopping, from vintage boutiques and Allens Boots to local designers and gift shops. As the sun goes down, the street comes alive with patio bars, cocktail lounges, and live music spilling out of venues up and down the avenue.



Head north up Congress to the Congress Avenue Bridge, home to the largest urban bat colony in North America. From spring through fall, crowds gather at dusk to watch more than a million bats take flight. Right below the bridge, Lady Bird Lake offers miles of hike-and-bike trail, plus kayak and paddleboard rentals. Keep going across the bridge and you're in downtown Austin, with Rainey Street and Sixth Street a short ride away.



Nearby, Nicholas Dawson Neighborhood Park and The Circle Row Greenbelt offer quick green escapes, and Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool are a short drive away.



Getting Around:

Most of what you'll want is walkable, including South Congress shops, restaurants, bars, and music venues. Lady Bird Lake and the bat bridge are about a mile up Congress, an easy walk, scooter, or quick rideshare. Downtown, Zilker Park, and Barton Springs are a 5 to 10 minute drive. Rideshares are easy to get, and there's gated parking on site for 1 car, with paid street parking nearby for any additional vehicles.

Important: To ensure a smooth check-in experience, you'll also be asked to review and sign the House Rules, Emerald Stay Terms & Conditions, provide a copy of your ID and credit card details for incidentals and reason for visit via the Guest App Link sent in your reservation confirmation. Please make sure to complete this step at least 24 hours before your arrival to receive your arrival instructions.



Please note that payments over $1,000 require a quick verification step. Guesty Pay Protect will contact you via email before your payment is processed to complete this verification. If the verification isn’t completed within 15 minutes, the reservation will unfortunately be canceled due to non-payment.

- The primary guest must be at least 21 years old and present for the entirety of the stay.

- Early check-in and late check-out are possible, subject to availability and with an associated fee.

- Parties or events are NOT allowed.

- Quiet hours are from 10 PM - 7 AM.

- If any furniture is moved, please place it back in the original space where it was found.

- Additional charges (including shipping fees) may apply if personal items are left behind.

- In the event that you need to use the hard key, we kindly request that you place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key.

- There are exterior cameras at the property for security purposes only. Please do not tamper with them.



Pet Policy:

- No pets are allowed at this vacation rental.



Parking Rules:

- Gated on-site parking is limited to 1 vehicle. Any additional vehicles will need to use paid street parking.



Pool Rules:

- The pool can be heated for an additional fee.

- Please do not tamper with the pool equipment. Fees may apply.

- Outdoor pool should be used at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under 16 should be supervised at all times.

- No glass or food is allowed around the pool area. Fees may apply.

- Please keep the gates closed at all times for water safety.

- For health, safety, and maintenance reasons, pets are strictly prohibited from entering the pool. A $500 fine will be charged if this rule is violated.



Fire and Safety Precautions:

- Smoking is NOT allowed.

- Minimum smoking fee: $250. However, the total charge may be higher if the property's condition renders it temporarily unrentable.

- Please do not bring any grills or outdoor fire hazards to the property. Fees may apply for damages.

- For safety reasons, lighting candles are not allowed inside the property. We kindly ask to please refrain from using any candles indoors to ensure the safety of all guests and the property.



Trash Rules:

- Please feel free to take out the trash and place it in the designated bins. We try our best to recycle! Please, no plastic bags in the recycling bins.

- The City of Austin waste collection is on Tuesdays for this property.



HVAC Rules: Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us.



As you may know, Texas is home to plenty of bugs, especially during cricket season. You may notice a few more of them around September and they’re completely harmless, though we understand they can be a bit pesky. Rest assured, we take proactive measures to manage them, and it shouldn’t pose a problem during your stay. To help keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed, especially in the evenings. If you happen to notice any inside, feel free to use the bug spray provided under the sink.
