Hosted an event downstairs at MODEx so the location was spot on and convenient, BUT the cleanliness of towels and kitchenware was questionable. Dirty pots, eating utensils and dishes. I’m assuming this is because it’s required guest wash dishes before they leave. Doesn’t seem like they’re checking that that was done properly. Decent stat overall.

Worst experience by far

The building lost power due to storms on Friday 9/27. Understandable. Email was sent by the property manager letting us know that essential areas including elevators were still operational with their generator. We were staying in this apartment with my 81 yr old mother. After dinner we headed back home to find

Nice property but check in was a struggle

Great location, nice exterior amenities but check in took way to long and it wasn’t just for us. The next day several family’s were waiting in the lobby for some time. Management company was slow to respond to our request for towels so we purchased some. Other the that it’s a nice property. I used the gym everyday and it was fully equipped.

Great!

This place was great—clean, nice, good location. The only real negative is that parking is a pain. You have to pay every time you leave, and stays over 6 hours are 20, so you can easily pay upwards of 30-40 a day. There also wasn’t any parking at all one night and we had to drive around the lot for 30 minutes waiting for someone to leave. If they can fix that it would be great!

Not great

Renting with Global was not a good experience. 24/7 customer service is not accurate. We waited two days to get a second fob for the apartment. After numerous texts, emails, voicemails and phone calls someone finally responded saying they hadn’t gotten all of the messages. Not sure why as I responded to texts and emails as they requested if anything was needed. The apartment was clean for the most part…however, the mold all over the shower curtain was not acceptable. The dishwasher had big chunks of food in the bottom of it (whole pieces of broccoli etc) and when we cleaned all that out (which was a gross job to have to do) we found more mold all over the dishwasher filter. Also there was only one tiny packet of dishwasher soap. The window shades are see through from both sides - no privacy. As we were on the amenities floor this meant all of the lights that stayed on all night shined directly through the windows. So left us sleeping in brightly lit rooms. The location was good. The building staff (not connected to the rental) were fantastic.

Great building

Overall, my stay was good. The apartment was clean, amenities were as listed. There was a broken glass door on the second bedroom and shards had been left after cleanup (I ended up stepping on one, on the first night). It had not been called out in the listing. Parking was also additional; $20 daily.

Short stay but great stay

We had a quick visit to be with an ill family member. The location is perfect, in Buckhead near restaurants, and shopping. The building has tons of communal space to gather, 2 pools, and a grilling area. Customer service was great. The only problem is we checked in at night on Friday and internet was not working so we could not watch TV. We had a ballgame to watch the next day and were told someone would come out on Sat. but they were unable to. Then I called back and another CSR was able to problem solve and connect us to internet in another condo they own in the building. It saved the day! You need a key fob to get in and out, and I did not know to ask ahead for more than one. We had 4 people going in different directions and had to coordinate when we would back. We requested another but as it was a 3 night stay they could not get to us in time. In booking I would request 2 (if needed) so they are available at check in. It was a comfortable stay and just what we needed! The only negatives were that may need attention are that the main bedroom has a light outside that window and was very bright, a blackout blind might be nice for that room. The shower in the same room had some mold but was minor. Housekeeping may need to address that. Thank you for a nice stay at a stressful time.
