« We really enjoyed our stay at Lords of the Manor. The house is absolutely beautiful and the ground surrounding it are classic picturesque countryside. Lovely walk through upper and lower slaughter. We had dinner at the restaurant which was a bit too fancy and pricey for our tastes but the staff were lovely and very kind. The room was wonderful for the night and I would recommend it! »

"The public areas are excellent and inviting. Thank you for the constant supply of cold water fountains during an extreme heatwave. The criticism is for poor HOUSEKEEPING. We stayed 5 nights. Used cups/glasses never collected, room never vacuumed, liquid soap dispensers never replenished, toilet paper almost depleted (we had to ask), bed making just thrown together, our room totally forgotten one day. Seems to be a real lack of staff, training and supervision in this department. "
