« Wonderful location and estate. What a garden. Great service and equipment. Traditional English - or should I write Cornish - style. My room was a bit small and not top luxury but was also not the most expensive, and enjoyed a nice sea view. English breakfast at its best. »

« This was our second year here, due to the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the room, the quality of the food and the location. You can do as much or as little as you like using this as a base. We just love the ambience of the whole area. We did trips by car, train, boat, bus as well as feet. Would visit again. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. »

« What a lovely place and very wonderful view. Breakfast was amazing and the hospitality is overwhelming. We were a family of four from London and the room was spacious and comfortable. We are really happy with the service. We do recommend this place for anyone who would like a quiet and peaceful getaway from city life. »

« I had a small but very comfortable room at the Waterwheel. The bed was roomy for a single person and the shower was excellent. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the meals were good. This is a well run hotel and very good value for money. »

« Accueil un peu froid et sans émotion pas trop accueillant. Un cours sur le sourire ferait du bien à bon nombre de personne. Demi-pension à recommander. Petit déjeuner trop simple pour un hôtel qui se veut un 4 étoile. Emplacement superbe avec vue magnifique. En voiture pas facile d'accès (route très étroites). Chambre spacieuse et très confortable. Malgré le personnel pas toujours sympatique (sauf au souper le soir), nous avons passé un beau séjour »
