The entire hotel as a whole appeared to be decent. However, once we reached the room, it was noticeable immediately that the rooms are not maintained well. For example, the furniture is old, the baseboards are not washed, the bathroom vent was not cleaned well, the shower was rusty and many other noticeable areas that require improvement. This property is overrated and did not appear as how it was advertised on expedia. Furthermore, the A/C unit was not working properly and unfortunately, it was etremely difficult to report this to front staff as they were not around after 7pm. With the room itself, it was disappointing - the room did not meet the images used for marketing on expedia.

There is no housekeeping, bar, restaurant or evening reception. Very self contained. Spa bath was very small and dated. Hotel is run like timeshare, shouldn’t be on hotels.com

Welcome Angela. You are correct. We are self-contained apartments. I'm sorry if Hotels.com advertised something different. Especially if they are advertising us to have a bar and restaurant. This I can follow up with our sales team and have it amended. Our reception team are available 8-6pm, 7 days a week. There is an afterhours team on call should there be any emergency. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you were mislead by Hotels.com

The property is very dated, rooms need to upgraded. Mould evident throughout the bathroom, stains all over the couch and chairs, stains on the bench tops, the shower floods the bathroom every time you shower and the rooms only get serviced if you stay 8 or more days. Choose another hotel.

Overall had a great stay, excellent location just outside of the main town, but across from the port. Only issue we had was on our final day when we had a member of staff barge into our room unannounced whilst i was in the shower. No knock at the door or any warning they were coming in. When checking out i raised this concern with the gentleman at the reception desk and all he seemed concerned with was that i was going to leave a negative review. I get it that mistakes happen, but when they do own them and don't give excuses that the staff member was newly hired etc. Its your responsibility to train your staff and make sure they understand issues around guests privacy. Overall was a great stay but this left a sour taste in my mouth

Fantastic view from the hotel to the ocean and rooms are very quiet. Good location with a short walk to marina, bus stops, 10 minutes walk to shops, cafe, restaurants and Woolies. Walking along the Boathouse path into town would be safer and relaxing than along the Shute harbour road.

The spacious areas of 1 bedroom apartment was excellent allowing us to really relax in the lounge area or on the furnished balcony overlooking the harbour and ocean. The rooms amenities were very satisfactory especially being able to wash and dry our clothes and towels. The staff were very friendly and helpful and walking to Airlie Beach township was an easy 10 minutes and lovely along the marina walking paths.

Property was a little out of town but good decent walk for us and bit more quite. Close to the Port Airlie, and near the Boathouse Apartments which had a nice cafe. We didn't like that our room was near a maintenance room and could hear the air con units and an outside light remained on day and night even after requesting to have it switched off. Room was too bright at night some extra block out blinds would be good, otherwise the room was well appointed and clean.

I was so surprised by the comfort and quality at Sebel. A list minute booking turned out to be the best family getaway!! Highly recommend them. We were on the 6th floor with amazing million dollar views, million dollar million dollar experience without the million dollar price tag!

Great location. A couple of issues worth noting - the sink plug in the show failed to release and maintenance had to call. Second, maintenance was called again to resolve a gap in the shower which allowed large volumes of water onto the floor. Problems were attended to very quickly and resolved.

Clean, convenient
Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Lovely view from the room, and decent kitchen area. Only negative was the smell from the drains, was quite a potent smell every time we got back to the apartment.
