« This home is a history lesson. Built more than 100 years ago, you see hand-hewn beams supporting the second floor, floors made up of varying-width boards, rooms large enough for their intended purpose without empty space. We were both intrigued and overwhelmed by the vast differences in home building then and now. That era saw families and neighbors coming together to fill a need. Everyone pitched in, bringing whatever expertise they had, to get the job done. All of the basics are provided,...

« Room was clean, warm, and very accessible to Main Street. My only concerns were that the walls were extremely thin and we would easily hear people’s voices, with a single closet door separating our room from other guests’ rooms. Fixtures/handles seem to be poorly built as well. A coat hook fell as soon as we hung a jacket, water pressure was weak, the shower faucet handle detached, couldn’t figure out how to turn on hot water, and the sliding shower door doesn’t stay closed. Not sure if we’d...

« Newly renovated, spacious, well appointed cabin that was impeccably clean. Bed was comfy and cabin is nicely located in between Old Forge and Inlet. »

« We had a last minute cancellation of a rental house and needed a place close to Gore that allowed pets. This house was great and Irene was very accommodating, making sure we enjoyed our stay. Check in was super smooth, location was close to Gore, with a pet friendly home and surrounding area. »

« Perfect size for a couple. Very clean, good amenities. »

« The cabin was clean and just the right size for our family. We enjoyed the fire pit and proximity to the lake. It was a nice base camp for activities in the area including hikes, the Enchanted Forest Water Safari, rail bike ride, train excursion, and the Herkimer Diamond Mine. The owners and Marcus were very kind and attentive. »

« Perfect beautiful place for my husband and I with our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Maggie. Wi-Fi was on and off, required resetting a couple of times. But, we loved the peace and quiet. Was perfect for exploring trails in the area. Moss Lake Trailhead was our favorite. Perfect between Old Forge and Inlet. It was across the road and a little walk from Big Moose Lake and the pic of the gazebo. and the gazebo and docks need some repair. Construction occurring and we just kept away from the area....

« Great place, peaceful, quiet, and well appointed. »

« My girlfriends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. We were able to easily walk to all the shops and restaurants. We had all of the space and amenities and parking that we needed. Jason was very helpful and responsive. Don’t hesitate to stay here! »

« The lodge was exactly as described. Clean and well maintained. Enough space for 9 (3 generations) without annoying each other! We all enjoyed the firepit and playing cornhole at night. It has a secluded feeling while still being 5 min from stores and restaurants. Gale was friendly and responsive to any questions. We would absolutely stay there again! »

« Our 3rd time staying here and it's always wonderful! »
