« Staff is friendly. Breakfast is a good perk. It is half the price of the hotel a few blocks away. However, the rooms are getting dated, they lack useful furniture for the space allotted, and currently the pool and fitness rooms are closed. I’d prefer they handled the rooms before fitness (never used) and pool (low priority). I will stay there again, though, for the overall value and cost. »

« I will start with the positive. We got massages and the spa was nice. The massages were good. The steakhouse was wonderful and the manager there, the waitress and the staff throughout Oglebay were really good. Now for the not so good: We were there for our 40th anniversary, which they had in their system, but we were given a room in one of the lodge wings that only had a view of the wall belonging to the next building of rooms.
