« If I could give this place 6 stars I would! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was friendly and first class. The room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. I had the best night's sleep I have had in years.Could not find fault in any way with the evening meal and the breakfast. The young lads and lasses who were waiting on the tables both inside and out, always had a smile on their face. »

« Excellent junior suite. Newly built. Excellent restaurant and breakfast, free parking. The hotel is a 20 min walk from the centre of Sherborne. We will stay at the hotel again when travelling through Dorset. Highly recommend. »

« Hôtel tres bien situé à 2 pas de l'abbaye mais des choses a revoir. Les fenêtres tres anciennes et l'ancienneté du bâtiment dont que l'isolation y est a parfaire... beaucoup même... très lourd dans la chambre malgré le fait qu'il ne faisait pas plus de 22° dehors. On ne peux pas ouvrir beaucoup les fenêtres. Le ventilateur est bruyant. On enrends aussi pas mal les bruits dans le couloir et les chanbres proches Le bar du bas est aussi très animé le soir il faut en tenir compte »

« Nice and clean - a good stay. The hosts were really great when I arrived quite late at night due to a missed train, and were really helpful in making sure I could get right into my room easily. I really appreciated their helpfulness and easy communication. There are a number of pets about the house including dogs, who make a bit of noise in the evening and early morning, but not too bad. I would be quite happy to stay here again. »

« Fantastic stay lovely hostess really went the extra mile to make our short break very special. Excellent breakfast and the surrondings were all in keeping. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Central location in Dorchester with all its history & museums and some really nice restaurants in easy walking distance Also a good base if you're exploring the surrounding area. You have Corfe Castle & Swanage within an hours drive. »

« A delightful B&B on the Esplanade in Weymouth. You will be greeted with the warmest welcome by Derek, the proprietor. Freshly cooked breakfasts and sometimes cake in the afternoons. The rooms are well appointed. »

« Dans un ancien manoir cet hôtel propose des prestations de qualité avec un service avenant, une restauration de qualité le soir et le matin ainsi que des chambres cosy dans une atmosphère delicieusement Anglaise. La note maximale de 10 échappe simplement par des chambres un peu petite et l'absence d'acces direct à la mer. »

« This is both an amazing location and an amazing hotel. Rob, the host, was a perfect one. He welcomed us, told us god places to eat etc and explained how the car park worked. The room was amazing. Clean, tidy and with the most amazing sea view. Coffee making facilities, toiletries and towels were pristine and the building was in superb condition. A really restful and comfortable stay If I had a single issue it was the car park. I found it stressful to leave a car in it blocking other cars in...

« Delightful property with excellent rooms. Quiet views into fields. Our host was wonderful and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious as was tea and cake in the lawn. It’s a very windy lane to the farm but well worth the drive. Highly recommend »
