« There was so much room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The dining area was plenty big but could use more chairs. The kitchen was plenty big but could use more kitchenware. The master bath was beautiful and comfortable but a broken window made it so we could hear everything in the kitchen. The shower was really cool, but not all the shower heads were functional. All in all a great stay, but a lot of things could use a little maintenance. Also, a second functional fridge since...

« Comfortable and homey! The wrap around porch was the greatest especially in the morning for coffee. Roomy kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Wifi and good tv service. Great beds and bathrooms. Even though you have to walk a ways to the river. It's a superb place for swimming, diving, floating, just sitting. Would visit again. »

« Very spacious, pool was great, hot tub was so relaxing! Despite not being able to use all amenities the owners were able to send us over stuff to help us out as much as they could. « This is our third stay at this amazing location. Extremely well outfitted, beautiful views, comfortable beds and linens, great a/c. We loved seeing the exotic animals, deers and turkeys and even the cats were a big hit. Highly recommend. We will be back! »

« Can not speak enough kind words of this home and property. It was so perfect for our large family for this years annual trip to the hill country. The home was well stocked and beds were extremely comfortable. Outside area, especially the pool, were used for most of the day. Also spent lots of time in the river paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing! An absolute playground for all ages. Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family! We hope to return again next year and for many to come. »

« This property checks all the boxes for everything you’d want for a relaxing getaway. Home and grounds are immaculate. Calm, quiet and serene and the added bonus of random wildlife makes being in or outside in the rocking chairs awesome. »

« My friend and I went on a beer, wine and distillery tasting tour from Texas Wine Tours where we were picked up & dropped off at the home in Harper which was only a 25 minute drive from Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the quietness and the Longhorn Cafe was within walking distance from the home. The home was really cozy, we enjoyed all the photos of the family's history and sitting out on the screened porch at night. I would go back because of it's proximity to Fredericksburg and it's not as busy. »
